It’s very clean, and the staff is wonderful. The bathroom is spacious, and its entrance is located away from the beds, so you won’t disturb anyone if you need to use it during the night.

Clean room, great staff, very nice location, walk to everything. The hotel supplies beach towels, sun screen, has drinking water filling station. Most of all you have a guest pass to Alohilani resort spa/gym which is awesome. We used it every day for our workouts.

Clean room at check in, we were impressed upon arrival. Amenities were ok. It would be nice to at least have an ice machine on alternate floors. Staff were courteous. Bed linen worn with holes and black stains. Housekeeping never replenished coffee station. We had to plug the kettle in by the bathroom sink. Also we felt they did a subpar at cleaning the room. Few kinks to work out. We would stay there again.

Even though there were a few "hiccups", I enjoyed my stay at the Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki. Most of the staff were friendly but not all. Elevator service was my biggest peeve as there doesn't seem to be enough elevators for 368 rooms. As a result, had to wait more than a few minutes on a couple of occasions. Didnt use the pool or the restaurant but both were nice. For people who rely partially or fully on public transportation, there is literally a bus stop in front of the hotel and on the opposite side, just a few steps away.

We arrived around 1:00. Tried to get an early check in but no rooms were ready, totally understandable because check in was 3:00. I was told they would send a text when it was ready, not too long. We dicided to walk around and get some food. We arrive back at the hotel around 4:15 and the room still wasn't teady and I was asked multiple same questions from the lady that checked us in even though we did pre check in when we originally arrived. And she was the worst, but the majority or the employees weren't pleasant and we didn't feel welcome. The rooms were extremely noisy. You could hear everything going in around you. The ac unit was loud and sounded like it was foing to fall of the wall.

We were treated so well by the staff. Some glitches happened, bathroom door jammed and the engineer was there in 5 minutes and so sweet. He removed the door and released my husband and reinstalled it so professionally. The front desk did a great job of pointing us in the right direction even finding my husband when he wandered off. The valets were great about holding our suitcases on the last day so we could get a little more time being tourists. The restaurant next door has delicious croissants and again very kind staff. I love that I could walk to the beach or catch a bus from in front of the hotel to anywhere in Honolulu. We opted to not use the maids much while we were there so I can't say much about them.

The hotel was nice. It is in the middle of everything. The valet was $51 a day which I thought was to much. The food was ok. I will go back.
