This was a great place for families to stay. We loved being able to self park, do laundry, and prepare meals in a location with a perfect pool and easy access to all of the tourist sites.

An excellent stay overall. Large rooms. The pool was the highlight of the stay. Excellent for kids in particular. Kitchen had the essentials, a large fridge, oven, microwave etc. There’s no direct beach access but it’s possible to go to the beach after a short walk outside. There are some shops nearby for essentials (pharmacy, restaurants etc). For anything else, a car is needed. The onsite restaurant is decent. Limited options and flavors are muted. But good ambience and service. One downside was that there were a lot of roosters at the property which would be rather disturbing in the morning.

Great hotel and very friendly staff. We came during off season and happened to have a couple of things happen, such as power outage for a couple of hours, pool closure for a couple of hours during the afternoon for maintenance and we weren't able to contact front desk one of the says because they were upgrading their systems. Other than those minor things, the hotel and the rooms were very nice.

Lack of staff support and care for guests. Horribly uncomfortable mattress and ugly view of back of restaurant & staff parking for it, also had a view of the garbage dumpsters and could see and hear staff scraping plates. Upgraded room to an ocean view and paid for full upgrade. Room was much nicer with a gorgeous view. Mattress was good. However there was black mold in the shower on floor by door and on/ in shower head. Washing machine did not work & balcony floor was filthy dirty with sticky spills and crumbs of food, sand and lots of someone else’s long hair. Had 2 fairly short power outages during our stay.

The room was spotless the staff was kind. This resort is so comfortable I almost didn’t explore Kauai. No regrets would do again and pay more if I had to for this experience. I got the same breakfast 5 days in a row because it was absolutely amazing. My wife had the fillet mignon multiple times. I just can’t say enough about this place. Thank you to all the staff for everything.

My whole experience was amazing I had one little issue checking in with my room, but the lady at the front desk who took care of me was amazing
