Hidden gem!
Decided to take a short break with kids to York and found the milking parlour Wheldrake online. From our arrival we were blown away with the place it was the perfect family cottage. The hosts were easy to contact on the way down, the cottage itself is in the centre of the milking sheds now converted to lovely holiday cottages which are bright, spacious and clean.
Being far enough from the clubhouse small children are perfectly safe playing on the grassy area out front and there are a number of excellent woodland walks nearby.
We will definitely be back
