Everything was great, the only minor issue was with the heat it was so hot, yet no top sheet on the beds, just quilts. So no cover for sleeping. Apart from that, a lovely hotel

The hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of York and easy to get to. The staff were lovely and were able to accommodate giving us a lower-level room, which was so helpful (especially when pregnant in a heatwave!). There were lots of options available in the mini bar as well as teas, coffees, etc. The room was very comfortable and clean - we will definitely return next time we come to York.

Great location and friendly staff. Small hotel. We stayed in the attic suite. Great but please keep in mind it’s quite a climb on a small staircase to get there. Second time staying at this gem.

Absolutely loved staying here, all the staff were lovely , really friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, we especially loved sitting in the bay window watching the world go by. The hotel was situated in the perfect place 2 minutes from the river , 7mins from the centre and the street was lovely and quiet at night, we came in the train and it was a 10 minute walk from there so perfect all round. We will definitely return 😀

The room was nice, with a nice shower. The only issues we had with the accommodation were: 1. The beds were not the most comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and did not sleep well. 2. In the morning the hot water took some time to come through for the shower. There is limited parking, we parked on the public car park which is expensive at about £25 per day.
