Worst hotel. Don’t waste your money. Nothing about this place feels like a real DoubleTree by Hilton. Dirty room: stained sheets, questionable pillows, and cleaning that looks rushed. The room was poorly soundproofed. We could hear cars and trains constantly. The entire room even vibrates when a train passed. The neighborhood is great. Easy to go to NYC. Pay more elsewhere. You’ll avoid a stay you’ll regret.

Didn’t het a “Hi or a welcome”at front desk. Waited at front desk and didn’t and no “ I’ll be right with you”Very and hotel and rooms. Room and hallway still have carpet and they all smell. I was charged 60$ for parking.

Hotel is close to the airport. Not very nice area. Train station is right across street, what is very convenient. Big hotel, carpet is very old and need replacement. Room is very big, bed is very-very comfortable. Furniture is nice, but on older side. Carpet needs to be replaced.

There are homeless people all around the outside of the hotel. We saw a rat in the parking garage. When we got to our room, it wasn't very clean. There were crumbs on the floor and stains on the comforter. The shower had hair in it and there were stains on the bathroom floor. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. I went to the lobby to get a bottle of water and they were all out. The proximity to Newark Penn Station and the ease to get to NY was great, but we did not feel safe walking back to the hotel late at night from the train.

Room was okay temp wise and to the naked eye was clean, bed was comfy... but the sheets had stains (like ink stains), the towels had hair on them, the tub walls were rusting. You have to ask for the cookie now when before they would make sure you had itupon check in.
