The first two days were awful. Our AC went out in the middle of the first night that we were there. We woke up at 2:00am to it being 82 degrees in our room. Maintenance came to try to fix it, but the AC wouldn’t cool the room below 76 degrees. We were switched to a different room, but still struggled with AC problems. Maintenance again came to try to fix the problem. The guy literally had the whole unit apart in our room. Water in the floor and parts in the shower. Dinner reservations was inconvenience. Rude staff. Understaffed. The surf shop wasn’t open. The whole set up of the place was nice. The pool was great, the buffet was great.

This was my first time traveling to curaçao and I must say it’s a beautiful country. The resort was pretty good and clean also. My only view is that the staff in the buffet restaurant was not friendly and they did not attend to your needs as needed. Overall I enjoyed my stay with my family in the resort and i would love to visit again some day.

We stayed in this resort for 4 nights, and it was excellent. Very well kept; nice pools and other amenities. The dinner restaurants are a bit over-rated. We did not enjoy those compared to the buffet restaurant. Overall very nice place. Highly recommend this.

Keep in mind, the room service only serves 3 types of sandwiches. The restaurants on the resort has to be reserved through reservations & the buffet is open at certain times. Breakfast, Lunch,Dinner & midnight.

Now usually I don’t give reviews like but this might’ve been the worse trip I’ve been on. One the main buffet has limited seating, limited food and even limited plates. Dinner ends at 11pm at 9:42PM employees were seen packing up everything & just leaving scraps for the remainder of the evening. 12am is supposed to be where they have a midnight snack selection for people but it’s just the scraps from dinner at the buffet. Nothing new. They do have specialty restaurants but the menu options are not that great. I also saw employees pouring old juice that was from the drainer of the machine back into the jugs that people retrieve drinks from. None of the glass cups were cleaned for you to grab beverages at the buffet. You could see old lip prints on the glasses from someone who previously used the cup. I’ve tried every drink at this resort & the only drink that was good was the pina coladas which they ran out of for 2 days. No employee gets you drinks while you’re eating. You literally have to stop at the bar before actually going to get food. They also barely clean the rooms. All they do is make your bed & leave. They did not give us any new towels nor did they sweep the floors. This resort has potential to be great because it is aesthetically pleasing however everything else is not. The best thing to drink at the resort outside of the pina colada was the sprite. This was my first time in Curacao & thanks to this experience it will definitely be my last!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mangrove Beach resort. There were plenty of food options to choose from and our favorite specialty restaurant was the Italian. It’s an easy walk to town to see the colorful buildings and bridge. Our room was clean and spacious. House keeping is not automatic and has to be requested via a QR code. The water slides and beach area were amazing.

Property is quite nice. Lots of stuff for kids. Very close, safe walk to the town. The staff here is a hit or miss. Lots of great people lots of miserable people. I think it had to do with their pay. They are qell underpayed. There was also a screw that stuck out of the main deck that was a significant hazard. I notified the front desk 4 times before someone walking caught there foot on it and aplit the bottom of their foot wide open!!!!!. It was negligence at its finest. I also had a secuirty guard accuse me of saying i was going to throw my child off the balcony mean while my 4 year old was climing our 3rd storey balcony and i screamed at her to get here down. This embarrassed me as lots of guest heard the confrontations between me and the security. No appolgies were issued which made me extremely upset. I am waiting for management to contact me . Other then this the resort was great. Food was great!!!

Food was decent, didn’t like the breakfast buffet but lunch and dinner was cool. pool and beach area was really beautiful. Drinks are good. Transportation was easy we used the 24/7 taxi app.
