Was disappointing to see the main focus of the hotel is money...you pay for Magiquest..$55 I believe for a wand to open chests and pictures on the wall. Hard to get around as they place these items in all public areas. You and your kids have tap bands so you just tap to purchase practically everything at premium prices. We asked if the hotel had any discounts on Clifton Hill attractions and was told no. Yet up to 50% off was offered at some attractions!! Was told Skylon Tower rotating restaurant was not good food yet we had fabulous food and service there. They don't want you leaving their resort !!! I don't care for dishonesty. There is so much constant stimulation here for kids that it's hard to find some down time other than your room. No where to walk to outside. Better to stay closer to town and can walk to attractions and was much less busy and more relaxing pace than here.
