Stayed in an upstairs room, quite pleasant. It was a bit off putting having water restrictions, but understandable. Didn't seem to have electric blankets. Renovations meant no cooked breakfast available, but there was no toaster provided although utensils, plates etc were.

"Centre of Wagga. "
Firstly, the staff were most welcoming & helpful. Our re-vamped room was most comfortable with all the facilities needed. Breakfast was perfectly cooked. The Motel is very well situated, did not need to use the car, walked everywhere. Enjoyed the country atmosphere of the town, yet it provided great cafes and restaurants, and also shopping malls, up-market fashion & shoe shops, incl. Myers. The walk along the river bank to the beach was most pleasant. A classic car show near the Info. Centre was an added bonus. Although close to the Army 1 RTB, with young recruits on leave in the town centre, it was pleasing to see that they conducted themselves in a well-behaved manner.

"Modern and Comfortable. :-)"
Modern room & bathroom with everything I needed for an overnight stay. Special mention for the comfortable bed, full block out curtains, complementary bottled water and very yummy complementary biscuits with coffee/tea facilities. Pesky fruit flies x 2 dealt with swiftly after finding a can of Raid among ironing utilities. Guest access to RSL club and dinning facilities plus room service if required for $5.00. Free WiFi with reasonable download speed and flat screen tv with extra channels. If I ever travel to or by Wagga Wagga then this would be my first choice of accommodation. I would recommend to the hotel that ground floor parking bays are allocated to the ground floor room numbers where they are outside the relevant room. I was awoken very early by noise and fumes when a diesel vehicle from another guest was idling outside my door whilst being loaded to depart.

    Pocket Guide: Wagga Wagga

In the heart of the spectacular Riverina region of New South Wales sits Wagga Wagga, a charming city with an unforgettable name. Surrounded by natural beauty and home to fascinating cultural heritage, the city is ideal for holidaymakers as it's loaded with attractions and history. Take a look at our Wagga Wagga accommodation deals and snap up a bargain today.

Wagga Wagga roughly translates as 'the place of many crows' and is the name given by the local Wiradjuri tribe. Situated next to the Mirumbidgee River, one of the highlights of the area is the Wiradjuri walking trek which follows the river around the city. Stretching over 30 kilometres, the walk will take you past some fantastic scenery and there are plenty of exit points along the way allowing you to get back into town. As a reward for all that walking why not treat yourself to some wine tasting at the Charles Sturt University Winery. Here the latest technology is used and tested to help develop wine making techniques and you can try the results for yourself. Home-made cheeses and olive oil are also available to enjoy.

From your accommodation in Wagga Wagga head to the Muddi Boutique Markets, famous for selling 100% handmade products from local people. Clothes, toys, jewellery, candles and much more can all be bought at the market. The city also boasts its fair share of museums including the Riverina Museum which dates back to 1881 and features a small botanical garden. Visit Wagga Wagga Art Gallery and admire the varied displays which include work from local artists and a national art glass collection.
