"Nice motel in nice city."
This motel is a breath of fresh air in a great inland city. It is well appointed, staff are professional and typical country type friendly....that is a great attribute in this day and age. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and whilst I try not to cast a critical eye on customer service, I just do....This is really good.

"It was fine."
they foyer was funky and location good. Room looked a bit.......well ordinary. i think the bathroom which clearly allowed for a wheelchair access reminded me a little of a nursing home room. but to be fair- it was immaculate and the bed very comfortable indeed. The staff did not really know much about the pool facilities over the road- lucky that i gave it a shot- I had the most lovely swim in the 35 degrees degrees heated pool- and on a freezing winter afternoon- this was a highlight.

"Great New Hotel"
This hotel only opened earlier in the year so the facilities and condition is pretty spot on. The room is impressive, it has all the creature comforts and I was happy calling it home for the 2 weeks I was there. The room has a 'king bed' which is 2 smaller beds pushed together. Has a table, desk, lounge (that is rock hard) bench space for jug and toaster (quite impressed with having a toaster in the room!) bathroom is immaculate! House keeping could be improved. The sheets were not changed for 4 days as there was a yellow mark on a pillow case that keft rearing its ugly head when I went to go to bed. The room was not vaccumed - there was something on the floor under the desk that took up residence for at least 4 days. There is an inconsistancy with the toiletries. For the First 4 days there was no body lotion, then the next 4 days there was no body wash in the shower (just soap) I was thankful I had my own toiletries. The milk in the mini bar had not been replaced so I had to go to reception and wait for milk to be brough up, I was thankful I had noticed, as I would have had no milk the next morning. Reception- on check in I waited for someone to come in (only a couple of mins) however on check out waited 5-10 mins and had to use the phone in reception to call someone to check out - this was not overly early, and I have to say I was a bit dissapointed, I am used to someone always being available in reception. I had breakfast one morning, it was nice, on the small side

    Pocket Guide: Wagga Wagga

In the heart of the spectacular Riverina region of New South Wales sits Wagga Wagga, a charming city with an unforgettable name. Surrounded by natural beauty and home to fascinating cultural heritage, the city is ideal for holidaymakers as it's loaded with attractions and history. Take a look at our Wagga Wagga accommodation deals and snap up a bargain today.

Wagga Wagga roughly translates as 'the place of many crows' and is the name given by the local Wiradjuri tribe. Situated next to the Mirumbidgee River, one of the highlights of the area is the Wiradjuri walking trek which follows the river around the city. Stretching over 30 kilometres, the walk will take you past some fantastic scenery and there are plenty of exit points along the way allowing you to get back into town. As a reward for all that walking why not treat yourself to some wine tasting at the Charles Sturt University Winery. Here the latest technology is used and tested to help develop wine making techniques and you can try the results for yourself. Home-made cheeses and olive oil are also available to enjoy.

From your accommodation in Wagga Wagga head to the Muddi Boutique Markets, famous for selling 100% handmade products from local people. Clothes, toys, jewellery, candles and much more can all be bought at the market. The city also boasts its fair share of museums including the Riverina Museum which dates back to 1881 and features a small botanical garden.
