This hotel is outdated, old and bathroom and bed conditions not ideal. They did not have linen for couch roll out, was told they were out of linen- we had to make shift it using top bed sheet. Unprofessional staff at desk. Asked for any restaurant recommendations in walking distance for a late 830 dinner and the the front desk could not provide any suggestions but take out. Would not recommend this for a family. Overpriced resort fees,etc did not make this a good deal to support the uncomfortable full bed or roll out couch.

From checkin on, the staff was really friendly. The room was spacious and the kitchen well stocked. Gorgeous view of the Atlantic, right on the beach. Amole parking and walking distance to all of the shops in Va Beach. Loved it.

It’s an awesome property, very nice staff the rooms are huge and very well maintained and cleaned will be back for another stay. The only thing is they don’t have any robes to wear for the pool.

Jimmy in Maintenance was awesome! We had to move to another room because toilet was leaking. Jimmy took care of everything even retrieving the keys to new room. The lady at the front desk requested we come down to get keys. Jimmy saw we were loaded with luggage and helped us tremendously!!!

The people were friendly, the spot was easy to find, and we had a room the size of a small apartment, with 2 ocean-view balconies, for about relatively cheap. The bathtub had jets, which was a plus; and I’ll take advantage of the sauna/pool area when we visit again and have less planned. I enjoyed walking the board walk, and the food options in the area were decent. We got a call about (I’m pretty sure) going to a meeting about the time-share; we skipped the meeting, but they did say they had renovations planned…I think that’s a great idea. This is in a great location, but the decor/appliances/building aesthetics could use an update. The only thing that was really tough to deal with was the bed…it was not comfortable, and it had a cover under the sheets that crinkled loudly whenever you moved…because the bed was uncomfortable, we moved a lot. We ended up sleeping on the pullout bed, which was much more comfortable…which is kind of crazy. At the end of the day, though, for the value that we paid, this was a great spot. The people were friendly, the view from the 6th floor was great, and we didn’t break the bank to stay there and have a nice weekend away…I’ll just bring extra bedding to put on top of the mattress next time we visit, haha
