I’ve stayed here a few times. This property is run down and needs renovation and updates. The beach is awesome. So are the views. But the rooms all have a slightly musty smell. The carpets in the rooms need to be replaced. The paint is chipping and marked up. The beds are soft and kind of lumpy. You can have a good stay here at a lower cost if these issues don’t bother you. The beach is not crowded on this block which is a Mike or so north of the main tourist area. The staff seems friendly and professional. Summary Beach and views - A+ Building and rooms - D

The room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean. Very quiet besides the one night the restaurant at the hotel had a live bad but it was over at 8pm so nothing really to complain about there. Very pet friendly $25 per pet per day. It's not close to the boardwalk so it was like having your own private beach surrounded by residential property. I was very happy with my stay I would definitely stay here again.

I loved that the property is right on the beach. They had live music at the restaurant downstairs. the staff was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn’t like the visible mold in the ceilings or the wet carpet and the humidity was so high in the rooms that we had to keep the AC on high 24/7

I thought that this was ocean front up in the resort area. I was totaled shocked when we got to the hotel. It was very clean, beautiful room, staff were very nice and friendly. Just wasn't what we wanted, only stayed 1 night.

From the minute we stepped into the room The moldy-smell, carpet was sticky the walls had black mold the drapes, torn the bed had pubic hair. I would not recommend for anyone to stay at Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront, the whole hotel is very dirty, for what they charge can't they afford to clean the hotel. DIRTY NASTY RUDE DIRTY DIRTY.

Pros- hotel, restaurant, gym, laundry, indoor pool and outdoor pool, beach front, quiet location in residential area, 1 mile from boardwalk, friendly staff. Neg.- additional fees upon arrival. $80/room and $100 animal fee. Pool area could use some care or renovation. No cigars(smoking) even on the balcony.
