Affordable beach stay

I was in town for hospital testing. Wanted to stay on the beach as a self treat. This place is perfect if you want the basics at a reasonable rate. Clean quiet basic rooms. Bring your own chairs and towels otherwise it has everything you need. A comfortable bed and pillows a fridge and microwave and steps to the beach.

This hotel was old and out dated. It looks nice on the internet the lobby looks great but once we went into the room it was totally different. We felt very uncomfortable and we checked out the next day and checked into a much better hotel.

They lost my reservation after the first night and tried to give my room away with all my stuff inside. Had to come back and get a new room key and make sure that all my things weren’t taken. The day I left one of the rooms had a fire as I was leaving the fire department was coming up the elevator. Would not recommend this property to anybody.

Very dirty! Old needs renovation. The only reason I booked it is because it was last minute trip and all the hotels were fully booked. So I looked at the reviews and photos and said it looks okay… I was so wrong it was so dirty and old. The vents were dirty behind the bathroom doors was a lot of dust hinges were rusty. Sheets in the corner had some kind of stain that looked like blood( which I hope was not) there’s no housekeeping only if you call…no AC in the hall way…pool was dirty…outside balcony chairs were dirty…the only good thing about it was the balcony view other then that do not book this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Resort — the location was perfect, right on the beach with beautiful views and easy access to the boardwalk. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. However, the Wi-Fi was practically unusable, which was frustrating when trying to plan daily activities or stay connected. It’s something that definitely needs attention, especially for guests who rely on internet access during their travels. Aside from that, everything else was great, and we’d still consider coming back — just hope the Wi-Fi gets an upgrade!
