Not clean, the housekeeping was poorly, they left clothes from the last visitors in the bathroom behind the door. The floor was dirty and under the beds was molded.

Needs cleaning and updating badly

No pillows for one of the beds had to ask front desk..also no ice bucket..was told it was all in the room but wasn't..pull out couch was old and had a very large dark brown smear on the underside of the cushion..whole place needs some serious updating..walls are thin and heard people talking loudly and making noises all night..beds uncomfortable and bedrooms are right on the other side of the main hallway so you hear EVERYTHING..balcony view was nice but they all are..front desk staff were helpful and friendly..that's about all I can say was nice about the stay

The Night in Hell

Most disgusting place I've ever stayed. The room had not been cleaned, previous guest's items were still in the room. The beds were clunky and awkward, with dirty linens on them. The tub had hair in it, and the towels smelled like mildew. The couch in the outer area was missing legs on one side, and the fridge was dirty. We were at the end of the hall in the third floor - also terrible as there was an elevator but we could never figure out if it worked or was just consistently occupied. The stairwell closest to our room was blocked off with plywood and caution tape. We made a trip to Walmart, picked up cleaning supplies and linens for our stay trying to make the best of a bad situation. Even after all that, the room adjacent to us guest's must have went out and left their children in the room. The crying started at about 11pm and didnt stop until almost 3am when we heard the door slam. We finally got to sleep around 4am, only to be woken up at 6:30am by construction and banging in what I assumed was the stairwell. I would not even recommend this establishment to my worst enemy.

Nasty!!!!

The worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in. When I first checked-in , came to the room…. It smelled i asked for my money back and the guy told me no i couldn’t have a refund if i didn’t have an issue. Told him what the issue was before i asked for a refund. He thn told me i had to get my money back through Expedia. The room is nasty, cigarette holds in the sheets but this is a non-smoking property. Stains on the dresser where cups have sat and nobody cleaned it before we came in. Bathroom dirty, sink , toilet AND tub. The fridge smell like fish!! I couldn’t even put my sons juice in it….Definitely a waste of $200

Pros: Room was large Great view of Beach Great location shower pressure and hot water. Cons: room had closet with breaker box and dry wall on floor. (they should have this locked not safe for curious kids) Room only had sheets no blankets. noise level was horrible you can hear everything outside. one slow elevator for whole property. Balcony door was hard to close.

Property is in horrible condition, rooms are VERY DIRTY, couch stains everywhere, bed mattresses are very old and very stained with mattresses covers put over them to hide the dirt, walls are dirty with dried boggers everywhere. Floors are covered in dirt. All lights throughout room are missed coveres or the shades are torn and falling off. No table in room at all only a nasty couch with a pullout bed with mattress springs poking through and 2 kitchen table chairs. Balcony was ok but did not feel safe. Staff was very friendly!

Low quality but same as most hotels in Va beach.

Beds and furniture was heavily stained. Lots of bugs on windows and balcony from outside lights at night. Parking was limited, congested and confusing for small space. Hotel is very dated. Door to the room was bent and didn’t shut fully. Hotel staff and service were extremely nice though. Bedding and furniture needs some updating

I will never never stay at this place again

It was the worst experience I ever had staying at a hotel in Virginia Beach The parking was horrible the room was dirty The water was shooting out of the tub Faucet Which was already taped up so there already was a problem with the faucet before my arrival and was not usable was not able to take a shower No one came to fix it or repair it I book through hotels.com They need To be Held accountable for representing such a horrible place i paid for a two nite an i arrived late the nite about 10 pm was extremely tired so i went to aleep when i woke up the morning was blown away the condition of the room needles to say i left I'm going to call my bank and stop payment and get my money back i usually don't leave a review. I had too thia time DON'T STAY @ The hotel Marjac suite in Virginia Beach

View and space

Excellent for the price. I didn't expect the separate room. Hot water was hot and miss. Staff was friendly. Cleaning could've been better. All 3 dispensers, soap, shampoo and conditioner were empty so crew didnt check those. Full size fridge made a huge difference for us. 2 stove burners and cupboard space. Note there is no oven and no pans or tools. Closet had no hangers. BIG dressers. No table. Tv in both rooms. Great view from small private balcony. Coffee maker didn't match the coffee packs. No creamer or sugar or stirrers. BIG freezer was also a nice suprise.

Poorly kept hotel, not what was advertised

Had to change room after the first room was not cleaned properly and the shower knob was broken off and left on the sink shelf. Cigarette buds in the balcony. The 2nd room we moved to, the bathroom sink fossette was detached from the base. The walls had patch jobs, that weren't painted over. Should have know by the poor conditions of the lobby, that the rooms would be the same way.
