Nice location if you want to be in the center/busy section of the strip. The room was not properly cleaned. I saw housekeeping working hard…not sure if they are understaffed? Hair on the bedspread, tissue under the sink. Hotel outdated. Air conditioning unit constantly leaked onto the balcony leaving a large puddle. Balcony above our room also dripped…needless to say, we weren’t able to enjoy the balcony. Television didn’t work properly.

We enjoyed our long weekend at the Holiday Inn Oceanside hotel. Staff, amenities & especially the location were the best. Only small issue was one elevator was broken intermittently, so we had to use the stairs on a few occasions. 9th floor is a hike on a hot day. Otherwise, very happy and we would return again! I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn on 21st Street in Virginia Beach, and I had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, every staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful — from the front desk team to the housekeepers, and especially the waitress at the on-site restaurant. Their hospitality made me feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. The room and entire property were incredibly clean, which made the stay all the more comfortable. Another huge plus — kids eat free at the hotel’s on-site restaurant! That made meals super convenient and budget-friendly for families. Between the outstanding customer service, spotless environment, and family-friendly perks, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Virginia Beach. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

I really don’t want to give a good review because I don’t want it booking up and then I can’t get a room next summer! Great hotel! One elevator broke, so that was the only negative.
