I stayed here on two occasions Dec/25 and Jan/26. Both stays were exceptional in all regards. Being right on Bali Airport, it can't be beaten as a transit hotel. The included buffet breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed the generous sized swimming pool (which had accompanying kids pool for families) for doing laps. The establishment's self rating was four star. For many aspects (Internet speed and ease of connection which included sufficient bandwidth for WiFi calling and WhatsApp voice was pleasantly surprising.) I'd give five star rating. An excellent coffee pod machine was included in the room. The gymnasium on two levels though compact, housed sufficient machines to "keep in trim" for a short stay. I mentioned at checkout that if Novotel built this establishment on a beach I'd be their first customer!

First annoying thing was that when stepping into my room, even before putting the key card in the power slot, the TV comes blaring on, with all its promos and choices. Because there are no good International news stations, I promptly turned it off (that required some adept moves). A minor annoyance, I thought, because at other Novotel Accor locations, I've found the same thing recently. i had to check out just before 5 am, so I set my alarm for 0400 hr. I was asleep just after 9pm. At about 11:45pm, the TV came on, same loud volume as if I had just walked in the door! I got up, turned it off, and tried to call the front desk to tell them of the malfunction but the phone was not working, no matter how I tried. Just a loud tone and no connection. Disgusted and tired, I went to bed, had difficulty falling back to sleep, then the TV blasted me again at about 1am. Repeated the Power Off and reset and hoped for sleep, then the third time at 3am was the last straw and I dressed, went downstairs (elevators were not functioning) and was told that there were electrical problems and/or testing taking place. I was firm when I expressed, in detail, what I had been through, but didn't "lose it" until the gentleman at the front desk asked if I had tried to turn the TV off. I had just told him that I did, each time the TV with its loud elevator music came on. I also expressed my dismay about not being able to communicate with the front desk. There is more to this review but no space for it

Staff are friendly. Breakfast could be better, the roti canai tough to eat and cold. Samosa is cold. Only one dish was meat apart from the usual hot dogs and bacon. If you like Indo Mee and eggs there are options how you want it to be cooked. Choose this hotel only if you have a really want early morning flight as it is located in the airport with easy access to international departure. An important note: There is no free shuttle to any malls near by. And if you want to get a Grab out of the hotel. There is a charge of airport parking 12K and the surcharge is like 100k to get out of the airport vs. Nearby airport hotel give you free shuttle to malls and no extra charges to Grab. E.g. a nearby place like to Krisna Oleh Oleh is like 125K if you take from Novotel and if you manage to find your way to walk out of Novotel and out of the airport area which likely to take 20mins walk that will cost only 25K without all the extra charges. The only consolation when you return the cost is 25K to Novotel and 12K for airport parking. Depending which room you are located away from the exit, you will likely to experience a long walk away from the nearest lift. No coin laundry available. Food within the airport is expensive and there is not much food option even if you want to walk out of the airport you will likely need to grab out and grab food would also be difficult as stopping at Novotel the rider need to go up look for staff to waive off 150k parking fees.

breakfast menu was excellent. We stayed here twice on our trip from Istanbul & again on our trip from Thailand . Excellent location, they even said that we can bring our luggage cart from the airport to the hotel (about a 7 minute walk) and they returned the luggage cart for me !!

A great choice at the airport. But, as usual, the food lets it down. Somehow breakfast just isn't up to scratch generally. The variety and appeal just isn't there. They really need to review their catering. This time. I was hoping for a cappuccino with soy milk. Basically the staff member I asked said 'no' and pointed to the automatic coffee machine. Pretty poor, especially since at times the breakfast is way overpriced in my opinion. My restaurant experiences have also been disappointing. They just don't seem to get things right in terms of the dining. Having said that, the staff are really nice people and the hotel itself is clean and welcoming. It can be hard to find - but people in the terminal will let you know how to get there. It takes about 5 minutes walk from the international arrivals area. Very convenient and comfortable.
