The room was large and had a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast included was at the attached restaurant with made to order breakfast that was generous and delicious.

Room was clean,extremely hot water,zero complaints about the room. Parking was fine, it felt pretty safe & we parked at the back of the hotel. Girl at check in and check out were both very pleasant.We were passing through on a trip, & the weather was to bad to tent camp so we ended up here. Our issue was the restaurant that was attached to the hotel. There is not many options in this area & it came highly recommended which is why again, we picked the hotel. They closed the night we checked in. no notice just closed early. They give you vouchers per person staying in the room for the morning breakfast. We went multiple times before checking out & they were closed. There was a sign on the door that said closed. This was very frustrating because we booked this hotel for the free breakfast, & to eat at this restaurant the night before. Finally we go to check out because at this point we HAVE to get on the road, we are on a road trip and it was time to move. We go to check out and she tells us that they are in fact open and you have to go through the side door but we are more then welcome to order to go at this point. We talk to a nice young man & he says he wasn't sure because they decided to do a buffet today instead of the options that are listed on the meal tickets they give you. Another lady comes around the corner & is extremely rude telling us NO we cannot take anything because its a buffet. I explain to her our situation. She refused and kept demanding our meal tickets.

Front desk check in was very nice. Stay was comfortable. However, the main complaint I have is the free breakfast that you get. When we walked into the restaurant and the girl saw that we had the pink tickets she told us it would be best if we just ordered our food to go. RUDE. She said they were short staffed and only had two waitresses. I counted 4 different girls in there working. She walked off and another lady walked up, and we asked her if we could be seated. She sat us as if it was no problem at all. She brought us our drinks and took our food order. I was an hour and 15 mins before we got our food. I could tell that we were the locals and was treated very different. There was another couple that stayed at the hotel as well there. I watched and they were treated the same way. They sat at a table and finally put in their order to go. When we finally got our food, they got theirs shortly after ours. They then decided to eat at their table. So, the to go order was not any faster. I just don't think we were really welcome. It's not a good feeling. The food was good. But i don't know why it took over and hour to cook two French toast meals with fruit and two orders of scrambles eggs and sausage. Unacceptable.

The hotel is clean, the staff was great and super helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed. It isn’t a luxury spot by any means but perfect to stay on a road trip.

Stay was comfortable but “free breakfast” was a terrible experience. The hotel provides coupons for breakfast to be used at the adjacent Hogan restaurant where customers carrying these coupon are treated badly. It took us 1.5 hours to get our food and had to put up with temperamental attitude from the waitress as well as the manager. Finally they charged a surcharge for a substitute that we requested as we don’t eat meat. The waitress never mentioned that there would be a surcharge. Giving 3 stars for the good hotel management, otherwise the advertised “free breakfast” was a true disappointment.
