Great location. Friendly staff and the attendant who helped us navigate the park was excellent. We were next to the shuttle bus stop and close to the food court so that was nice. I would stay here again!

The canyon is a very short walk away. Although breakfast is made to order (omelets and waffles) it is very much cafeteria style. Lacking in quality considering the price. Staff was great in preparing food. Cashier was complaining about the job. The front desk staff was awesome when I checked in and requested more coffee for the morning. Very friendly and service oriented. Very pleased with the room. The beds are comfortable. Maybe consider how the doors can be changed out to soft close - they were slamming shut as early as 3am when hikers hit the trails.

Comfortable Stay in a Prime Location We stayed at Maswik Lodge for one night and appreciated its unbeatable location—just a short walk from the Grand Canyon South Rim. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable however the decor felt a bit dated and the air conditioning was louder than expected. Maswik Lodge is a family friendly choice for travelers who value proximity to the canyon over luxury. It offers the basics in a peaceful, wooded setting, and with a few updates, it has the potential to become a truly standout stay within the park.

We have stayed in the Maswik Lodge before. The room is rustic, but has all the amenities we would need. The only issue this time was the lack of hot water. We were there to hike and it was disappointing that the water was tepid. We did mention it to the staff, someone came and fixed it and it worked for one day and the next day, the water was back to being tepid.

Great location, just a 5-minute walk from the lodge to the rim trail. The room itself looked clean; however, some of the pillows had a smell that suggested they had been slept on.
