Glamping at its best ! We checked in at the beautiful , full service lodge . The staff was attentive & friendly. We were escorted to our amazing tent that included a comfy king bed with our own bathroom. The tent was clean , spacious & also had its own front porch for stargazing. This was our first Under Canvas experience & it won’t be our last . Try it , you’ll love it !!

Was an amazing experience. Im used to the Ritz Carlton; however, if you want the most spoiled camping experience connecting you to basics and a sky full of stars this is your place. Spend the day at the Grand Canyon and come back after sunset. Lifetime unique experience. Back to basics and spirituality! Ultimate spoiled camping!

A real mixed bag. Loved the remoteness of the place and the concept is great. Staff were great too and big thumbs up to them. However, in my view the facilities and tents are lacking just that little bit. It's all well and good being 'environmental', but pull chain showers are ridiculous. Food is way overpriced for the quality and quantity. Having experienced 'glamping' in Namibia last year, Under Canvas does have an awful lot to learn.

Under Canvas was an experience! All the reasons you would choose to do this make it worth it! The night sky, the “glamping” with high-end onsite food/beverage vibes, & the camaraderie of fellow GCNP visitors are all on-point! We stayed in May in a tent with private bathroom & shower. The tents are heated by a small camp stove. Struggling to keep the fire going all night, holding a pull cord for a cold shower, & hearing the excited overnight murmurings of couples in tents nearby made this an experience we will choose only once. PRO TIP: Sound carries in the quiet desert at night.

The staff was great and our tent suite was lovely. In late April it was very cold at night. Even though we had a shower we didnt use it because we couldn't dry our hair and it was too cold to even think about! So I probably wouldn't go with a suite again unless it was in a warmer month. Also the larger tent was harder to keep warm at night with the fire. We managed, though, and the bed, pillows and linens were cozy and comfortable. The night sky was gorgeous! The food was ok. Not great but certainly not bad. It was nice to have free coffee in the morning, too.

If I could leave a sixth star I would. I’ve never stayed somewhere so culturally committed among every last member of staff to customer care and quality of experience. My wife and I were celebrating her birthday during our stay here and Under Canvas, especially Leo and Jaclyn but honestly everyone we met, did everything you could possibly think of to make our stay special and then some things you wouldn’t think of too. I was honestly shocked at how personally invested they were in creating a memorable experience for us. If you’re staying in the Grand Canyon area celebrating a special occasion, find an excuse to stay with Under Canvas. Make one if you have to.
