Great room, great amenities. We were there during the polar express event at the railway and they were playing the polar express movie 24/7 on tv in the room. Very nice touch. Pool and hot tub were great also. Wonderful stay.

On the first night, they admitted they made a mistake and gave our room away. We were left having to find another hotel. We stayed there on the second night of our planned stay (because we were meeting family) but the hotel displayed they were not on top of running a large hotel again. About 30 min after checking in, a staff member knocked on our door to see if the room was rented yet (probably what happened the first night). I seriously doubt I will ever stay there again. The Polar Express Train ride was fun though.

I cannot recommend this enough for first time Grand Canyon visitors. The train ride is serene and the time spent at the canyon is just right. The gore itself is beautiful and is perfect for the holiday season. It was decorated with lots of Christmas decor and a big fireplace. There is Christmas music playing everywhere and you have a feeling of a cozy mountain retreat. There are drinks and food available in the lobby adjacent bar. The train should be booked ahead of time, but boarding is super convenient and there is buffet and quick serve food available in the station. The station is on the same grounds as the hotel.
