I love all about this lodge but the one thing I was disappointed was that there are no lights at night. It was very difficult to find assigned rooms because it was so dark.

I didn’t have high expectations for the Yavapai Lodge based on what I found online but it was great - conveniently located with spacious & comfortable rooms, a decent tavern / food hall / coffee shop and a comprehensive grocery store. It’s a short walk to the south rim trail and buses run frequently to the other parts of the canyon. Very helpful staff at check-in also! Fully recommended.
