I have to say I was very disappointed after driving with my eight year old son for over 8 hours straight - upon arrival at 3pm, actual check in time - my room was not ready. I was told I had to wait an hour and had to go back at 4pm and they still had to double check to see if my room was clean. I don’t think that is fair that I had to wait until after 4pm to check in since I was charged for the room from 3pm to 11am next day check out. The least they could have offered was a complementary late check out to compensate having to wait for the room. Or a partial refund…anything to make up for the inconvenience.

room great…. lines for reaturaunts very long and no tables available. very hard ro see room numbers to rooms.. first room had to switch secondary ti be outting next to a mexhanical room…. breakfast should be available earlier we had to be out the door at 6:30 and nothing open till 7… didnt get to explore grounds much since it was dark when we got there and left

The gentleman Josh at the front desk was so friendly and warm-hearted. We arrived at the lodge late night on 11/20. Previously I booked two rooms under different names for my relatives and myself therefore they were arranged in two buildings. But without hesitation Josh helped us to put two rooms next to each other. When we checked out on 11/22 early morning, Josh again helped us with perfect service. This is the best experience we ever had from our past traveling experiences. We are very impressed. Thank you, Josh and Yavapai Lodge! Our other relatives will come next year and we hope to be able to book the same lodge again!
