We had an enjoyable time at Yavapai Lodge. It was easy to find and check in. Room was clean, although smelt slightly musty, and bathroom very outdated. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the cafeteria style dinner, although slightly pricey (understandable for The Grand Canyon). Parking was free and right outside our room. Staff were lovely.

We spent just one night here but it’s a great place to experience and access the Grand Canyon’s south rim. Easy access to the trails and all the amenities the village has to offer. Not to mention the price was right for an early spring break visit!

Not what I expected and definitely way overpriced....was equivalent to a super 8. Didn't see anywhere that said you have to check in and then drive to lodge.

The rooms are pretty standard and decent for the price I paid off season, although the coffee maker in the room didnt work and the office is too far away from the lodge rooms to just pop over and grab a cup from their cafe. They don't offer free coffee at the office or breakfast. Kind of disappointing because they had Starbucks pods in the room, just not usable. It was snowing the morning we woke up here, though, and elk were right outside the lodge as it was snowing. Quite a magical moment. Made up for our below average experience with the room

Yavapai Lodge is well located, close to the visitors centre and the shuttle stop. Rooms are clean and quiet, with lots of parking. Lodge rooms (East and West) are also close to the market and restaurants, which is nice after a day in the park. Great place to stay!

We visited the Yavapai lodge the last week of February so it was quiet and not packed. The yavapai tavern/cafe/gift shop is within walking distance of any of the lodges and has a nice selection of foods and a water filling station! It takes 5-10 minutes to drive elsewhere in the park such as Mather Point. The lodges do not have a view of the cabin, but have a view of woods that sometimes have elk roaming! The lodges have been renovated and are nice, but show their age in some places. We really enjoyed our stay and being in the park was very convenient!
