Lake Powell resort was an amazing stay. A lot of beautiful scenery all around the resort, it makes for a breath taking morning walk. Another thing that I loved was how clear you could see the stars at night time, never seen anything like it before. I even found a spot at the resort for my proposal. I do wish that the rooms had bigger refrigerators and also a microwave. You can walk up front and use the amenities that they have up there. The staff was very courteous our entire stay. Just make sure that you take the walk down the boat ramp because I waited until the second day of being there before going down and the views from down there are even better as well as being able to enjoy the beach. we will be coming back very soon.

Not Like the Pictures

This hotel was not at all what was depicted in the pictures posted. We had a room on the second floor, however, we soon discovered there was not an elevator. We had to carry our heavy luggage up stairs. The first room we were put in looked like a boys dorm room with very old and warped furniture. The door would not close unless we (two of us) slammed our body into it. I requested another room with a door that would close and the nice guy at the front desk moved us to an “upgraded” room. He was very helpful! But the new room was only slightly better than the first but at least the door closed normally. Also, the outside doors were not kept locked. The only good thing was the view of the lake.

Very nice place to stay in Page. However, I would mention the following: 1) The rooms are pretty much like a hotel, though they call themselves a resort. 2) On top, they charge a “resort fee” by calling themselves a resort! They say it is to cover pool, WiFi etc.! Totally uncalled for. 3) At check in, they offer lake/marina facing room for $20/$40 extra! Uncalled for, again. 4) We had a marina facing room ($20 extra). Nice view. But!! Whoever was the architect/designer strangely made 3 feet high balcony wall! Sitting on a chair in the balcony you are staring at a blank wall when there is a wonderful view of the lake and marina behind it! Why can’t there be a view grille or glass as balcony wall? Bummer.

The views from the restaurant was great. We liked the pool away from the main lobby. The rooms and bathrooms are very outdated furniture scratched, the chairs on the balcony stained.

Registration was fast and easy, walked in resort, beautiful clean building, very friendly staff, very clean, comfy bed in the room, nice pool and spa area. Plenty of options for eating with the family at resort or a short drive to Page. Had a great time.
