This hotel was quite excellent especially for my family of four! Everything was nice and clean for us to use, comfortable to sleep on, and great for us to rest as we explored Japan. All the nearby shops and restuarants were just as amazing and the staff were very polite. Honestly one of the best hotels we've stayed in and we thank the Marumi Hotel for what they gave us.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my time in Tokyo. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. Their hospitality made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the location was convenient, with several attractions, restaurants, and transportation options within walking distance. The rooms are compact, which is common in Tokyo, but they were functional and provided everything I needed for my stay. Overall, I appreciated the friendly service and convenient location, and I would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay while exploring the city.

Great hotel that is clean and has very friendly staff! About a 10 - 15 walk to Sensoji temple and Asakusa Station. It was great for our family because of the proximity to the subway and the neighborhood was a little more on the quieter side of things. Family Mart is right around the corner and 7-11 is within 5 minutes. Laundry is on the first floor of the hotel, which was great. Disneyland is about a 45 minute commute.

Friendly front desk, they tried their best to accommodate our requests. Found the rooms to be quite spacious (for Japan standards!) and very clean. It was too bad the rooms didn’t come with any toiletries but they were available in the lobby. Overall a good experience booking here

We stayed in a Superior Twin Room for almost a week and had an excellent time. Location-wise, this is a perfect hotel if you want to be close to the main hub of Asakusa (it's a fifteen minutes walk to Sensoji) while also having an opportunity to be in a more quiet locale. There are excellent coffee shops and bakeries in walking distance as well, along with many konbini options. The only downside is that it is not particularly close to trains (Iriya or Minowa are fifteen minutes away) but the bus options were great and the walk to the stations would be fine if it hadn't been agonizingly hot and humid during our visit. Our room itself was perfect. Large, comfortable bedding, and it was nice to have a desk and a separate area to do work or eat snacks. I didn't mind that room service was on request and we were able to have our trash cleared every day. The mini fridge was really cold and fit all our konbini beverages. There was also an electric kettle and tea mugs which we used every evening. Bathroom and toilet were great as well. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They always checked in on us and were so friendly. I loved how well-stocked the amenities bar was! We made good use of the slippers and robes provided. Having coin laundry and an izakaya downstairs was incredibly convenient, and you can even get a discount at the izakaya with a coupon at the amenities bar. Overall we had a lovely time at Marumi and would happily come back!
