They didn't move my dates by a day so I ended up paying for 2 nights accommodation but stayed for only 3 hours although I contacted them the day I booked my stay - both Expedia and Koko didn't help to resolve this date issue. They wouldn't even give me the tickets for the included buffet breakfast upon arrival saying the restaurant was closed when it was open and the other guests were still receiving the breakfast tickets. Room and bathroom was very small and untidy. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone or book this place ever again! Left a very bad taste for my first day experience in Japan.

Don’t book the lowest cost room! Literally closet-sized. NO suitcase storage, no free space & NO room for any furniture, not even a footstool. No closet - only three pegs in the wall. In fairness, the sq footage was clearly stated, but I had no idea there were hotel rooms this small anywhere! Had to move into a larger room due to terminal claustrophobia. Good News - clean rooms, good Japanese breakfast buffet (no breakfast alternatives anywhere near this hotel), helpful, efficient English speaking (sort of) front desk staff. Four hi-tech washers & inefficient dryers available with automatic soap included. Location a bit isolated but still relatively convenient. Taxis arrive in under 5 minutes, and the front desk is happy to call one for you. Average taxi fare to almost anywhere is $28 but fairly priced since there is no tipping! You MUST make sure you have your destination written in Kanji (thank God for Google) because all cab drivers are totally dependent on electronic maps. Without a written destination in Kanji they cannot find ANY location by name! Remember, there are almost NO street numbered addresses. GREAT 3 table Indian & curry restaurant “Local Spicy Sit-Ra” 1/2 block away hidden in a side alley. Definitely worth looking for, but nearby ‘Italian’ and ‘French’ eateries are snobbish, overpriced, & require reservations. Lawsons and 7-11 within 2 blocks. One block from the interesting, sprawling Tsukiji Fish Market & shopping. Won't return primarily due to location.

Everything else is a ok.it was cold and snowy night but one women receptionist is a unruly and aggressive.they should teach For kindness. I thought all Japanese people were gentle and kind.she was cut off during the telephone conversation asked how to turn on thermostat. She told me everybody else is a ok why you don't know how to turn on and hungup .Are these hotel staff treating forean customers don't know how to read Japanese letters like this ? .I give no star at all but other staffs are a ok.

My stay at KOKO HOTEL Tsukiji Ginza was extremely disappointing. The room was uncomfortably tight, poorly ventilated, and had a persistent unpleasant smell that made it difficult to relax. There was no room service at all, which significantly reduced convenience and comfort. Overall, the experience fell well below reasonable expectations and I would not choose to stay here again.

It was a great location near the fish market! Closed to the train I have no complaints about the hotel would definitely checkout the other Koko hotels again! Small rooms but for the price it’s worth it!
