The hotel looked very nice. We stayed in room 161, the carpet was so dirty we kept or shoes on all the time,rhe shower curtain smelled up the room and the room had a lot of dust,In the morning our phone's were covered. Room was across in a very loud area.

In my opinion, there was no better value for our money. This hotel is located as close to the South Rim entrance as you can get without staying in the park. The rooms were clean, the amenities were far better than expected and the staff was friendly and hospitable. Will definitely stay here again. You will be pleased with your choice, if you decide to stay here.

Our room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. I love the lobby! Great complementary coffee. My only complaint would be the curtains. The Solid curtains only closed halfway on each side. There were gauzy opaque curtains in the center of the window. It is daylight outside by 4:30am. Plus the lights from outside shined through the windows all night. Otherwise, nice hotel. Good Location.

Although the hotel was nice we experienced a fire alarm around midnight for about 15 -20 minutes. No information from the staff about this. No apologies in the morning at check out. Our night was ruined. We payed way too much money for this type of stay without some kind of acknowledgement from the hotel. A simple sorry would have gone a long way rather than just ignoring the problem.

Beautiful property and a great location for Grand Canyon home base. There were more dead animals in the wall than the lodge in the GC! Haha. Hot tub and indoor pool were great after a lot of hiking. Loved having a lanai and fresh air in the room. Lots of thoughtful amenities such as a loofah, toothbrush and paste, razor and cream, make up removers, shampoo and conditioner, bath salts etc. More than I’d ever seen anywhere. Nice products. I understand checkin is at 4 but as a host when someone shows up I’m happy to have the tired traveler checkin early. The first gal made it very clear 4 was 4, but we could pay $40 to get in early. Maybe. At 4. haha. We showed up at 330 and the next FD person checked us in without a lecture so they balanced out. Restaurant is pretty nice and they had entertainment at night so that was super fun. Parking is easy and out front. Water and ice fill stations were handy. Sheets were clean and crisp. Double sheet so no nasty comforters. Bath tub was heavenly with the bath salts. Quiet property. Neat and super clean. I’d give it a 10/10 and am recommending you stay there. We’ll be back for sure - if we get back! Good place good people. Mahalos
