"Had a Ball."
Close to the sky train and Nana Plaza. Staff accommodating and helpful. No trouble organising early wake up call and taxi to airport. Would definitely stay there again. Will be second home in Bangkok.

"Great for a stopover on way back to Australia"
Great value for money, clean, friendly and very comfortable. We had a huge 50M2 Exec Studio room. Perfect for a 2 night stopover on our way back to Australia from Italy. Wotif had a great last minute deal with a nice buffet Breakfast included. Would use this hotel again. It's across the road from the Grand Sukhumvit (have stayed there before) so location is very central. Also convenient location for picking up last minute gifts with local evening street markets along Sukhumvit Road throughout the Nana area.

"Very nice hotel"
Was given a room in an adjacent building which meant quite a public procession to get to the pool on the roof of the main building. However wearing the supplied bathrobe in public is not a problem bearing in mind the types of dress to be seen in the streets! Nice room with big TV and impressive views. Unusual to have the bathtub through a big window in the bathroom (but could be curtained off if needed). Not only was there a shower over this big bathtub, but there was also another separate shower. Two bottles of free water supplied daily. Pillows with a big label on saying 'soft pillow' were actually quite hard!. Taxi from airport cost 500 baht and takes from 1 hour to just 35 mins depending on traffic.

Sukhumvit Road is a major artery that flows through Bangkok and our Sukhumvit hotels provide a perfect base from which to explore the flurry of enterprise and entertainment on offer. Splintered off from this main road is a wealth of accommodation, bars, restaurants, cinemas, shopping malls and of course the mandatory delicious street food; you’ll be spoilt for choice.

An essential attraction to see while staying in any Sukhumvit hotel is Jim Thompson's House. The legendary American moved to Thailand after the Second World War and made his fortune by re-invigorating the Thai silk industry. Thompson disappeared in 1967 but his Bangkok residence is now open to the public as a fascinating museum. The house is a short walk from National Stadium BTS Sky Train station or for the more daring it can be reached by the high speed canal boat; just watch out for the rogue splashes of not-so-clean canal water.

There are plenty of attractions around Sukhumvit to keep you glued to the area and the restaurants and overall night life rank amongst the best the city has to offer. For bars and clubs, Sukhumvit Soi 11 offers low cost drinks at the aptly named Cheap Charlie's as well as elegant clubs such as Q-Bar and Bed Supper Club. Alternatively, Soi Cowboy is also a well known spectacle in the area but its assortment of go-go bars may not be suited to all. Some of the best food on Sukhumvit can be found at the Soi 38 night market. Here you can graze on snacks, including the mouth watering pork satay and if you have a sweet tooth the brightly coloured and multi-textured Thai desserts are worth a try.

One of the main benefits to staying in our Sukhumvit hotels is undoubtedly the BTS Sky Train which has transformed the way locals and tourists travel around the city. The BTS follows Sukhumvit Road and opens up the far reaches of Bangkok to all who use it while gliding over the traffic below in air-conditioned serenity.
