Lovely Stay However, I was looking for a public space to sit ( (lobby) and I mistakenly took the seating area on the outside of the bar area to be part of this public space. Before I was even greeted, I was told that I would have to give up my chair within an hour because the space was reserved. This was our first stay at the Lotte but because we have family on Bainbridge, we visit Seattle often. We’ve stayed at the Four Seasons and The Sorrento, among others. Our criteria are usually comfort of beds, quality of linens and an excellent shower and Lotte met these. The rooms are large and comfortable although the furniture is not conducive to sitting. The only challenge is the lighting in the bathroom. Because there is a window facing the bedroom, there are no mirrors over the sinks and this design is not good for womens’ needs for putting on makeup, doing hair, etc. It leaves a lot to be desired in bathroom lighting. We loved the restaurant and the decor is totally our taste. The best part of the stay was having the transportation available! The most we waited was 5 mins and were able to access just about anywhere within the 2 mile radius. Staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. The only issue was the spa. While the spa is beautifully appointed, the 50 minute full body massage I booked was limited and was not a full body. I have had massages in many parts of the world and this was a first and was very disappointing. I would not return to the spa.

The hotel itself is fantastic: spotless, comfortable rooms with breathtaking views of the city and Elliott Bay, plus a restaurant with equally stunning scenery. The amenities are top-notch too, including a well-equipped gym and relaxing dry and steam saunas. They don’t have any pool but with so many other things I rarely felt I was missing out on that. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. Thank you, Gary, for making our stay unforgettable!
