Seattle Holiday Packages

Bristling with hipster cool and cutting-edge of technology, Seattle is a city of space-age buildings surrounded by evergreen forests, towering mountains and pristine waters. With weather that keeps you cool throughout the year, a thriving arts scene and a lifetime’s worth of fragrant coffee in eco-friendly mugs, it's time you say hello to Seattle holidays.

Things to do in Seattle

Start your holiday in Seattle with a ride up the iconic Space Needle for far-reaching views over the city's eclectic neighbourhoods, beautiful bays and snowy mountains. Back on terra firma, pay homage to some of the city's most famous sons, including Kurt Cobain and Jimi Hendrix, at the EMP Museum. Established by Paul Allen, the co-founder of Seattle business giant Microsoft, the museum blends futuristic architecture with rock 'n' roll history and pop culture. After playing with some guitars, explore Pike Place Market, where tourists and locals alike gather to dodge flying fish, buy fresh produce, and find unique gifts.

Seattle is also home to a thriving craft beer scene, and just north of downtown is a great area to embrace a brew or three. Go from a tasting flight to the history of flight with a tour of the Boeing factory. Check out where the world's top plane maker builds its legendary 747, 767 and 777 aircraft, and the still-in-production sky beast of the future, the Dreamliner. To explore outside the city and hike or mountain bike on some of area’s best trails, book one of Wotif’s car hire options in Seattle and head east.

Shopping, Dining & Nightlife

Seattle getaways aren’t complete without some souvenirs to show off to your mates back home. Pike Place Market is a top spot for unique jewellery, pottery, other handicrafts and souvenirs like T-shirts. Love fashion? You'll love downtown’s big-name brand stores like Macy’s and Nordstrom. If you're chasing bargains, hit up the city's outlet shopping centres, like the Seattle Premium Outlets an hour north of downtown. When you get hungry, the Pacific Northwest is fertile with sweet berries, cherries and apples succulent seafood fresh from the local waters and grapes grown in the surrounding hills and valleys that produce fantastic wines. You'll find great dining throughout Seattle's diverse neighbourhoods, including downtown, Waterfront, Capitol Hill and Fremont.

After dinner, there are plenty of good reasons to stay sleepless in Seattle. Let the good times roll in the city's eclectic bars and lounges. Whether you're in the mood for Irish, British, blues, college or just good old dive bars, Seattle is full of after-dark entertainment. Head to Belltown for upmarket lounges, University District for lively college bars and Capitol Hill for the gay and lesbian scene.

Had only one elevator going, no coffee in the room. They only have coffee from 4-7am then you have to go to the restaurant and buy coffee. The restaurant is closed on sundays and the staff at the desk was not very helpful at all.
