Santa Ana Cheap Hotels

The staff at this location are very helpful and accommodating. While the restaurant and bar are also nice- the prices for food and drinks are steep, considering we are not staying in a state of the art hotel. The $35/night parking is a bit steep considering the hotel itself offers virtually no other accommodating amenities for guests. The first floor aka lobby is beautiful and clean. The rooms are outdated and limited. Our tiny refrigerator sat randomly on the floor. The bright white flooring was stained grey in parts or still dirty. The bed is an old spring mattress and the pillows are fluffy on appearance but quickly go flat. Our curtains did not allow for blackout so the morning sun is offensive and the windows are not soundproof so the freeway noise and constant ambulances make for quite the noisy stay. The perk is that it’s literally across the street from UC Irvine

Breakfast was good in General the Hotel looks good but the rooms needed upgrades as soon as possible
