Staff was friendly. Room was clean! Dirt cheap for downtown San Francisco… cheap $30 covered parking. Walking distance to Concert and show venues. 20 min Uber ($10 depending on time and date) to the Chase center. If you’re expecting the Ritz, look elsewhere. If you understand the area you just booked the hotel, the price, parking… then this place is a gem. I was with my daughter and her two friends ages 17 to19. While the area was a little sketch, I never once felt it was unsafe for me and the girls… I would 100% stay here again.

Had a very nice stay. Room was clean, easy to check in as the front desk employee was very friendly. This is a bare bones hotel but it was cozy for what we needed it for, which is walkable to the Civic Center. Yes, it can be loud outside but it is a city and for the most part it was not even bad. They do provide ear plugs if you need them. Bring a credit card and yes, they do charge for parking.

Staff member was very arrogant and at 1st refused to take my debit card and said it needed to be a credit card. But the main issue is with yourself by not showing the extra parking charges on the main list, also the need for a credit card should be shown on the main booking section as well. Going back to the receptionist, he said I would have 5 mins to unload my car or it would be towed away if I didn't pay. As for the room, that was acceptable and no more but the main issue is the noise all night, the building must be built with very thin bricks as the traffic noise and general outside noise was so load. Also the location is a drug den paradise, which isn't safe whatsoever.

SOMA hotel with parking at a good price point. They provide earplugs which are needed. But most people here don't sleep that much. The location is rough if you're used to the hi-life, but perfect for slumming the SOMA leather bars.

The location was convenient for the events I attended. I liked that parking was available on the premises. The room was clean, comfortable, and fully functional. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The room was close to the elevator as well as the stairs. Having multiple staircases turned out to be very convenient, depending on where we were headed from the room.

PROS: 1. Room was very clean, no bedugs, no mold, no cameras. 2. Mattress was in good shape, well supplied amenities 3. Check in/out process was ok. Room can be paid with debit card, but parking and deposit only by credit card. 4. Building held up well during a 4.3 earthquake. 5. One liquor store market right across the street with easy access (not much else around though) CONS: 1. Bad neighborhood. Sketchy people and a lot of loud noise and yelling all night long. Earplugs are provided, and rooms cant be accessed from the street, only by keycard, making it safe. 2. TV only works when you manually push TV buttons, and switch it to HDMI 1 3. Parking is a tight squeeze and limited. Your parking spot may be parked right at sidewalk, so make sure there are no valuables left in your car. OVERALL: I would definitely stay here again because its cheap and clean. Just come prepared and know where youre going so you dont end up lost in the Tenderloin area a couple of blocks away.
