Exceeded my expectations. The staff was super friendly and focused on providing exceptional customer service. I had a corner room, large, nicely decorated, clean with everything I needed. The restaurant had great breakfast and excellent service. Valet parking onsite. Fantastic location around the corner from BART & Muni, Union Square, Moscone Center, Embarcadero. Loved my stay at this hotel. Will definitely return.

Overall a great experience with some annoyances

Nice hotel in great location. Room was bright, airy, clean and comfortable. A few minor annoyances, body wash and lotion dispensers were practically empty in bathroom and had to fiddle with the buttons on the hair dryer to get it to work. Also, ice machines on 3 different floors did not work.

Super Pleased!

Perfect location for my brother and I on a siblings trip. Convenient to numerous public transit & walking. Room was quiet, beds very comfortable and outstanding shower pressure. Great value for the room! Skip the restaurant for breakfast though - really expensive and not that good.

The staff was all friendly and helpful. The decor and design was awful. The picture above our bed was so creepy, I had to cover it. Someone tried too hard to be stylish and failed at every turn. The exterior of the building maintains its early, very attractive, design. Past the front doors everything becomes ugly. The name of the in-house restaurant is “Dirty Habit”; a singularly unappetizing name. Certainly not a name to inspire anyone to want to eat there. Otherwise, the refrigerator was silent, as it contains no compressor. However, the only was it would be cold enough to be useful was to keep a bucket of ice in it, much the same as an ancient ice box. Trader Joe’s is in the basement, which was very convenient and helped us save money on restaurants. The location on Market Street is convenient but htere are numerous beggars just out the door. The visible disparity of wealth, in San Francisco, is astounding. Two blocks away, Neiman-Marcus sells a bathrobe for $6750!
