We had to pay for parking at 33$ per night . You list parking as an amenity. Put there is no free parking . I paid $200 plus for a room that was so small my wife and I could not walk past reach without running into each other . Absolutely horrible and listed as a 5 star hotel . What a joke ! The buffet food was also horrible . Pure grease and the coffee tasted like water! I would never recommend this hotel and will be submitting a review in Google to avoid this place .

Only complaint is that the water in the shower was mostly cold and the sink only had really hot water. Staff were welcoming, hotel is beautiful, and the location is perfect. We will definitely be back.

Literally across the street from the Alamo, walking distance from anywhere in downtown San Antonio. The breakfast was great, dinner was amazing also! Staff is super friendly!

This hotel is beautiful with great views. The only issue we had was that we tried to order room service after 10 and we were told the start arrive a little after 11. We tried several times after 11 and no one still answered. Also- there is no parking and valet is $55.

Everything was great only part I would say needs to change is parking. They are already charging a lot for the rooms and then they charge a lot for parking. I understand they are there to make money but way over priced.

Waited over 25 min to get an elevator trying to checkout. Elevator was full every time it opened on the 3rd floor, super slow as well, eventually got tired of waiting and used the emergency exit stairs.

Dirty

This hotel was very run down and dirty. The bathtub had huge missing pieces from the tub and the switches had dirt. I showered with shoes and my husband didn’t get in the showers just washed his hair standing over the tube, that’s how bad it was. I knew it was going to be more historic, but with it being a Hilton I expected it to be clean and remodeled. It was not. The beds were also uncomfortable and no one slept well. I am not usually a review person, but this was just not good.

The young lady that checked me into hotel was rude and not accommodating to my having a previous reservation and simply had me run my card for what i was told to be just for incidentals which ended up being for full amount of my stay which was prepaid through 3 party vendors already. Thus, charging my bank account twice the amount for the stay and being rude on top of it.Upon calling back to get the accounting straight i am told there is no compensation and that my money will be returned in approx. 5 to 10 business days. I feel i am out my money for 2 weeks i should be compensated for something or discounted stay and return more than just the double pay. Apparently, they do not rely on repeat business and do not need my money anymore. BEWARE OF RUDE STAFF AND DOUBLE CHARGES.

The property is very outdated, the AC didnt work in our room, the pool is drained and looks awful, the staff was incredible and very friendly, that was their ONLY saving grace, and we had ZERO interaction with spirts, they claim they are the 3rd most haunted in the world and we didnt have any interaction, and we TRIED!

Great stay

Really lovely stay - staff were very welcoming, room was spacious and location was amazing. Some of the features of the hotel felt a little tired, and the parking is expensive (we found a cheaper garage down the road). All in though we would recommend.

Not my favorite. Room temperature is too cold and adjustment is not easy to figure out. I won’t come back. It is the heart of downtown but all the construction makes it difficult to navigate . They gave warm cookies my husband enjoyed them.

Birthday getaway!

My boyfriend and I went for an overnight stay for my birthday! The room was small and cozy which I loved since it was a one a hospital many years ago. The cozy feeling made the stay even better. The room color and style was gorgeous! I loved it and the look of the hotel. I didn't have a ghost experience which was disappointing, but I still loved the historical significance of it and I loved that it was right next to the Alamo. Both were absolutely beautiful at night! I can't wait to come back. The onely thing bad was the bathtub needs a better plug for the drain. Other than that it was a great little getaway.
