Likes: overall clean, convenient location and friendly staff Dislikes; First room had no wifi due to its location in the back of the building. Asked for another room and staff was more than willing to give us a room closer to the front of building. Second room was much better overall except water pressure in shower was very low. Hotel needs upgrades, water & internet especially. In spite of the issues, stay was adequate due to cost, cleanliness and staff.

Did not like the small square little pillows on the bed. What I did like was the walkability to PNC Arena. They now charge a $25 pet fee. The young kid checking us in did not seem to be a dog-friendly person but it sounds as if there has been a lot of inconsiderate people that have stayed recently and have not taken care of their dogs (i.e. leaving them in the room all day during a football game and have left waste in the rooms).

Perfect for the Lenovo Center and Art Museum. Loved the courtyard and the pool area. Neat hotel that did not make you feel like you were near the hustle and bustle. Would definitely stay again.

For the money this hotel is overall fine. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, the front desk people were very nice. My only beef with this hotel is that the side entrances on the left side of the building/parking lot did not lock to the outside. There was a panel where you could stick your room key in that was supposed to unlock the door, which presumably means they should have been locked to the outside, but the two doors I used did not lock. One of them didn't even close completely. This meant that any rando from the neighborhood could have come into the building without having to go through the front lobby. This seems very unsafe. I informed two separate front desk people of this and they said they were going to get maintenance on it. That was a week ago (Sept 2025) and hopefully they fixed it by now. Assuming that is fixed this is an acceptable hotel in the fairgrounds/NC State area. I got it because I decided at the last minute to spend the night in Raleigh so I could go to the second day of an event I was there for. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and I needed something close to the fairgrounds because I was tired from traveling and not sleeping well the night before. If you just need somewhere to sleep and you're not looking for a posh experience (and they fix those doors!) this was fine.

Hotel was great, the bar/buffet, pool and outside patio are very nice. Only complaint is the lighting inside the rooms, they do have several lamps buy for some reason the room is still dark.

Great walkable location to Lenovo Arena. Free parking. Hotel is dated, but clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again, especially for shows at Lenovo or for NC State games.

I didn't notice that breakfast was offered... that mat have been for the best. Breakfast was AWFUL! The eggs were gross, the pancakes dry, and thwy ope pre-packaged items so that people dont take them. They have a hot bat where everything is premade but it's just bad and crowded. There is a counter in the dining area bit for some reason they have a staff member right next to the tables they set up to check "breakfast tickets" which don't exist (show your card key and room number). The room was okay. It smelled like mildew and just seemed a little dirty overall. It's great walking distance from the football stadium and the Lenovo Center but i woulve opted to stay in downtown and just carpool in.
