Ana on the front desk was amazing, she changed our room for us the second day as we were NOT happy with the first room after vacationing there 5 different times!! My room was very clean and housekeeping was great. The front desk clerk that I had should retire. She was rude and not helpful. We had all of our meals off sight so we could experience the culture. You only get water the first day in your room then it’s up to you to buy it. If you want ice you have to go to the bar and expect attitude!!

All staff were pleasant. The room was clean. The hotel and it's surrounding was mostly quiet, making for good nights sleep.The pools were great for swimming. The downside, there are no kitchen facilities, like a kettle etc in the rooms (unless you reserve a kitchen unit) and the cleaners had to keep up with the bird population and their droppings.

We enjoyed our stay at the Tropicana. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and the beach view was amazing. This hotel offers poolside and beachfront access which is a bonus in this area. It is close to many restaurants and a small grocery store across the street. This was our 2nd year in a row staying at the Tropicana and we will definitely be back.
