The hotel is dated, the shower was rusted, the desk was chipped. But it has a great location if you do not have a car; you can walk to the mall, the 5th Ave, restaurants, and grocery store. The breakfast is very good, and the staff was always very nice.

Front desk attendant was more than helpful. Breakfast was so so, big room full of families. Didn't expect much it was a free breakfast. Room was a tad worn down didn't care, the whole hotel was clean to my expectations. Pool area chairs in good condition and clean. This was my second time staying at the Wyndham Hotel in Playa del Carmen, and overall, I had a pleasant experience once again. The location is fantastic, and the staff remains welcoming and friendly. However, I did notice that the bathroom curtains looked quite old, with visible stains and a bit of mold. Additionally, the towels looked quite old and yellowish. Aside from these areas for improvement, my overall experience was enjoyable.

Bath towels were gray-brown color and horrible condition. Bed sheets were also of very poor quality with gray-brown color… Ordered and ate soup in the restaurant and had to wait 15 minutes while guests checked in at the front desk to pay for it. One agent.
