Great family place, relaxing, fairly quiet in early May. Nice pools, hot springs very hot to hot to warm as they cascade down terrace. Sauna was hot as well, great shower booths around pool. Breakfast buffet included was awesome and reasonable priced dinners delicious with incredible view of volcano if you sit on edge of open restaurant (no AC but was ok in am and dinner with fans). Large portions, our two sons did not go hungry. Staff was amazing and friendly, rooms clean, room AC cold, grounds well kept. Loved the chill lounge happy hour. Visited early May, did morning excursions zip line, waterfall, hiking, expect some rain in afternoon, really loved Volcano lodge.
