I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this hotel was so troubling that I feel compelled to warn others. We got stuck in the elevator with six other people for over 30 minutes, trapped between the 6th and 7th floors. We were sweating, and scared. Once we were finally freed and had to take the stairs to our room, things only got worse. The room was far from what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel. The couch had visible holes, the lamps were broken, there was dirt on the walls, and all the towels were wrinkled as if they hadn’t been properly laundered or folded. It felt neither clean nor cared for. We ended up leaving because we no longer felt safe or comfortable staying there. Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet even the basic standards of cleanliness or hospitality. I cannot recommend this place and hope management takes these concerns seriously.

The hotel room itself was perfect for what we needed for our trip. We specifically picked this hotel because it had a pool and it was close to the concert venue we were attending. After checking in at 6 pm the pool was closed shortly after because there were too many people and it was hazardous. This is understandable for adults, but was heartbreaking for our kids (4,3,1) who waited all day after a 3 hour trip to go swimming. The employee had told us they were going to open up about an hour later. With 3 small children we obviously were not going to be able to return. We returned at 7am with the hope that there would be fewer swimmers and our key cards would not allow us access. Eventually we were able to get in and enjoy the pool time for a brief period before breakfast. Then around 10 am we began to prepare to depart and all but 1 of the elevators were out of service. It took almost 45 minutes for us to make multiple trips with little ones to load our vehicle and check out. We additionally had issues with the parking lot next door not providing us with a ticket upon paying Saturday evening and then being forced to pay again on Sunday in order to leave. This being said the employees at the hotel were very helpful and courteous. When we arrived they greeted us warmly and even provided our small children with snacks to welcome them. It was unfortunate that the circumstances were what they were because the hotel was exactly what we were looking for otherwise.

Excellent location within walking distance to many attractions. Public transportation was convenient for the others.
Phlash bus is an affordable way (seasonal) to see top sights like the Art Museum, Liberty Bell and the Betsy Ross House.

Found mouse droppings in bedding. Walls dirty and faucet buildup and sink clogging. Booked for 3 nights and immediately left this hotel upon checking in. Staff unprofessional and rude. Customer service was awful. The health department needs to conduct an inspection of this location.

Central and Great

Great room, great location, great breakfast and comfortable outlay. A lot of schools staying. Only criticism is better signage ( as easy to miss) and no parking. Could offer a discount with a nearby garage.
