Professionally managed by Beach Habitats 30a, this spacious 3,600 square feet home in Carillon Beach is ideal for families and for making memories on the beautiful Emerald Coast beach. A high-end luxury home designed by Dungan Nequette in Birmingham, this home is the perfect size and layout for family gatherings with several entertainment/sitting areas and a large kitchen. Relax on the screened-in porch overlooking a large grass backyard and Lake Carillon. Conveniently located to the beach (a 3–4-minute walk), swimming pools, tennis, pickle, and basketball courts, and playground, Sittin’ Purdy is also adjacent to The Meeting House, Downtown Carillon and the Village Green.

Great house for a set of grandparents with three grown kids with families totaling 7 grandkids. The owners furnish everything including two pack and plays, 4 beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels, even a couple cool ladies beach hats. Back yard was perfect for smaller kids to play whiffle ball, badminton, etc. Exactly 310 steps to the beach and the pool. Already booked next years stay for the same week. Great view across the lake as well.

A new favorite vacation spot

“We came back a second time”

So nice to have a house big enough for 14 last year and 16 this year. Very comfortable, cheery spaces, and additional helpful amenities like towels and beach gear. Perfect with few exceptions; back door lock failed during stay but had helpful phone assistance; could have used another refrigerator; porch fans had one speed, slow; sprinklers ran every evening leaving backyard unusable at end of the day and bushes blocked lake view; sofa sleeper mattress very uncomfortable, its sheets were hidden; can’t read microwave, display not bright. None of these would keep us away next time. We had an enjoyable trip.

Favorite Carillon Beach House

We loved this house! The kitchen is well stocked and the house was very clean. It is very kid friendly especially for our 6 grandchildren ages infant to 5 years. ( baby gates, pack n play, toddler cups, bowls and plates, toys, etc…) The layout of this house was perfect for our family and we have stayed in several great houses in Carillon. One of our favorite features was the ice maker. Crushed ice at the beach was so good! We loved everything about this house! It felt like home!

Sittin Purdy had us doing just that!

There was plenty of room for the 14 of us. The house provided many areas for “catching up” on each family’s news. The screened porch was popular as well as the lovely sunroom extension off the living area where we set up a puzzle to work on during a few rainy hours. The large dining table was perfect for dinners next to the roomy kitchen with ample counter space for food serving. Loved the bricked laundry room with space for everything needed for the beach. A very comfortable house!

Sittin’ Purdy was perfect!

Amazing weekend for my daughter’s wedding in Carillon! Sittin’ Purdy was the PERFECT location and size for our large family to all be together to celebrate! The large kitchen and spacious, open floor plan made visiting together so fun and enjoyable yet everyone could retreat to their own space for down time. The screened porch and backyard added another dimension of entertaining space - especially for the kids! Overall, I don’t think we could have chosen a better place! I do recommend a golf cart for getting to and from the beach - especially with young kids! While it’s an easy, breezy walk…the little ones enjoyed the ride and we enjoyed tooling around the neighborhood checking out all the beautiful homes and not having to lug all the beach paraphernalia.

Wonderful home!

Everything about this home is great! Spacious, comfortable, attractive, quality furnishings and appliances, and on and on. Location is desirable within the Carillon community..... walkable distances to two of the pools, to the beach, meeting house, Village Green. This house even has a yard for the kids to play in and a nice view of the lake. We enjoyed our stay!

The ideal home for weddings in Carillon

Sittin' Purdy was our home base for my daughter's wedding at Carillon. The location could not have been more ideal. It is located right next door to the chapel called The Meeting House and the reception site called The Village Green, and steps away from The Lake House on Market Street where the after party took place. The home itself was stunning, both inside and out, and better stocked than any vacation rental I have ever stayed in. It was spacious enough for everyone to gather together, yet also designed for private spaces to retreat to. The owners have considered every detail for the comfort of their guests. We appreciated the attention to detail in the architecture and also in the interior design. The appliances were top of the line and the kitchen more than suited our gourmet chef. The rental agent, Karen, went out of her way to make us feel welcome and also kindly accommodated us after we had absentmindedly left several items behind. If you are considering Carillon for your wedding venue then you have chosen an idyllic setting and will not be disappointed. If you want to perfect your wedding weekend then rent Sittin' Purdy for you and your guests, or just come spoil yourself with a luxurious vacation and accommodations. For us it was a dream come true! Thank you to Karen and the owners for memories that will be etched in our hearts forever!
