The hotel was nice, fairly simple but pleasant and quiet. Staff was welcoming and professional. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the Shin-Osaka station which made matters nice and convenient. Just a short walk between the hotel and station.

I read a lot of bad experience of other smile hotels from Expedia and this one has overall good review and my personl two-night living confirmed the excellence of the hotel. They don't clean your room every three days, which is fine to me as I keep my room tide. Luggage storage is offered after checkout.

'Convenient location, clean, and safe. Most of the staff were friendly. During this trip, I stayed at four different hotels, and this was the only one where I had to request towels and a bath mat at the front desk. Drinking water was not provided, and guests were expected to bring their own trash bags out to the hallway. There also seemed to be an excessive number of staff at the front desk during the day. It might be more efficient to reduce the number of front desk staff and instead allocate resources toward providing basic amenities in-room.

Nice hotel

Staff are friendly and polite. Rooms are clean, and it was helpful they provided a robe you can wear in the room and that coin-operated washing machines/dryers didn’t require you to have detergent. It’s very conveniently located, with numerous restaurants and convenience stores available in a short walking distance.

We stayed for 5 nights, initial check in was great. The staff at the front desk had a good level of English, but was reluctant to speak Japanese when I attempted to practice some basic phrases with them. Hotel has great links to both Osaka metro and the JR shinkansen line, but there's no shops or places of interest around the hotel so it felt quite isolated. Breakfast was extremely off-putting as my family and young son were watched the entire duration we were in the breakfast room and were then told breakfast was closed and we're hurried out. The majority of staff had limited English and communicated through a translation app, which was fine but a little more effort either in English or responding to my level of Japanese would have been appreciated.

The hotel is new and clean with a convenient location. I enjoyed my stay and will come back again. However they didnt clean my room and only gave me new towels. I was wondering how to dispose the trash as I was concerned about the smell during summer.

Bad hotel! Can't smile here!

I booked a room for 4 people but the hotel just allows 2 people per room that i had to pay extra money for one more room. The attitude of the Japanese guy at the front desk (seem like the manager there) was not good. I had really bad experience here. Never come back again!
