The Kansai region of Japan is loaded with great places to visit. You’ve got the prefectures of Kyoto, Nara, Hyogo, Shiga and Osaka…but it’s the last one we’d like you to focus on. Why? Because Osaka has a really awesome castle you can explore, there’s a canal you can take boat rides in, and don’t even get us started on the Dotonbori neighbourhood. That you need to see for yourself. Check out Wotif’s great offers on cheap flights to Osaka and get moving!
Your adventure in Japan will begin when you land at Kansai International Airport (ITM), 27km from the central business district. You can get to the hotels in Osaka by hopping on the Kansai Airport Transportation Enterprise bus. Unless, of course, you don’t want to wait for the bus. If that’s the case, get a vehicle from Wotif’s car hire options and drive yourself.
Flights to Osaka that land in the morning give you plenty of time to explore all the great things this city has to offer. Like Osaka Castle, the 17th-century fortress that played a big role in the unification of Japan, so yeah, this place is a big deal…much like Ron Burgundy.
If you’re landing during the evening, skip the sightseeing, go straight to Osaka-jo Hall and catch a concert. Pop. Rock. Classical. You name it, they have it.
With one of our Osaka holiday packages, you can get a hotel in the Dotonbori district. Go for a boat ride in the canal and then zig-zag your way through the neon maze of streets that make up this neighbourhood. Delicious food spots and vibrant nightlife establishments are around every corner. And along every street.
Well, we’ve done our part, now it’s time you do yours. All you have to do is browse our unbeatable deals on Osaka flights, book a seat on one now and forget about your job for a while.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did not realise how fancy it was when we booked and for the price it was great value. You could almost spend a whole day just exploring the hotel. We would definitely stay again.
Very clean and neat hotel. Small rooms but that’s to be expected. Staff were helpful and friendly. The only underwhelming part for us was the “included breakfast” which consisted of a coffee machine and some bread and muffins (not even butter available) which they wanted guests to take back up to ...
This APA and APA's in general are in highly convenient locations, clean, well-priced, with friendly service. Even though rooms are typical-Japanese small they are designed so you are actually more comfortable in them by how ergonomic and pleasing the interior is. Rooms are surprisingly quiet here ...
The hotel felt very prestigious. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Right next to JR Namba station. Short walk to Namba walk and Dotonbori. Would definitely recommend!
Hotel has great potential being right next to train station, close to shops, outlet shopping has shuttle bus to airport and great view of surroundings. What the hotel needs is a facelift, new carpets fresh wallpaper and update to bathroom. Bathrooms are very small, no air conditioner in hotel corridors ...
The staff were very helpful. Initially booked for a smoking room as a non-smoking room was unavailable online. Then when we got to the hotel the receptionist asked if we wanted a non-smoking room. We were able to change from smoking to non-smoking at no extra charge.
Loved this place! For the low price I received a private room- big enough for clothing and yoga. a futon- with double foam layer, A shared bathroom-with good pressure hot water, mirrors vanitys hair dryer, shampoo soap conditioner. The location was right next to midosuji subway and shin imanamya ...
A budget friendly hotel but don’t expect anything more. Didn’t really like that the floor was concrete and no shower curtain, so bathroom would get wet whenever the shower was used. Also didn’t really like the area but I should have researched this more prior to booking.
Located in Minami, this hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Spa World, Tsutenkaku Tower and Nipponbashi. Abeno Harukas and Tennoji Zoo are also within 15 minutes. Dobutsuen-mae Station is only a 2-minute walk and Shin-imamiya-ekimae Station is 2 minutes.
I booked a twin room through wot-if for my 4yo daughter, 18yo daughter and myself. The listing said a twin room catered for up to 4 people and was suitable for my request for 2 adults and 1 child. However it was 2 large single beds with only 1 pillow each and only 2 towels. Not sure how it could ...
This hotel was perfect - very clean, very new, close to the subway station and a supermarket (which is great when you have a kitchen), and had amazing amenities for our family of four. It was very secure, check in and check out was fantastic - friendly and quick. It was within walking distance of ...
