Location is good on boardwalk. Drinks and food at the pool bar and restaurant were good. Trying to get towels was extremely hard should not be the guests responsibility to try and get towels it was a joke. Parking wasn’t great there were only enough spots for about half of the guests at the hotel the other parking required you to walk a few blocks.

Beach outing

I was actually impressed with the condition on the room after visiting several beach hotels, this one was clean and had no musty small. The space was perfect for a short stay for a family of 6. We arrived at 3am and it was an easy check in. We did have to get our own towels and blankets for the sofa bed but that wasnt a huge hinderence. I would visit again for a longer stay.

Sorry....But We Will Not Return.

Location to the beach was excellent. Room was OK...could use a deep, deep clean. Beds were super comfortable. The most frustrating part about the trip was the trash bins (with full trash bags in them) and maid carts sat in the hall right in front of our door for our entire stay. We had an awful time getting our luggage cart to our room. I called the front desk and ask of the bins and carts were going to stay there the entire time we were going to be there...her response "Um Yea". I asked to have the GM meet me at the room to discuss. She did come up a few minutes later and apologized and moved them down a bit from our door, but they were right back in front of our door the rest of our stay. The parking was HORRENDOUS! One car only. We saw multiple cars with no placard in the lot and when we asked to purchase an extra one, we were told an absolute no... that there was no room for extra cars...no crap...when random people are parking there and the staff does not enforce the rules. This was a pretty pricy hotel even through Hotels.com. We have stayed there before, and our stay was beautiful. Sadly, we will not return. For what we paid we will be able to find a nicer place to stay. Sorry Tidelands!

Constant good quality

Have been staying here for the past few years and I noticed on this trip everything looked a lot nicer. The lobby was very clean and smelling fresh. Rooms were same. Good quality service was good atmosphere overall very good and will no doubt to stay again next year. They knew Restaurant bar by the pool was much improved with better food but really do miss some of the more exotic drinks.

The location is perfect as far as beach and boardwalk but upon arrival finding the check in was difficult. Parking is limited it is a few spots at the building otherwise there is an overflow lot where you park which is still limited i did not want to leave and lose my parking spot while i vacationed. There is 1 elevator for 5 floors and it goes slower than molasses when i checked in after the stress of figuring out where they were and parking it was 20 min until 4 they told me to come back at 4 and i can get my key then. The room was clean tiles were broke in the bathroom the shower made a loud noise the coffee pot didnt work you couldnt change the thermostat but to only go colder than 70 the refrigerator had a terrible smell. The pool on the 5th floor had a ladder in it that i notified them the one step was cracked and they didnt fix it or even put a sign up it was cracked while i was still there for my stay.

Not the cleanest room we've stayed in, but I feel like it's a trade off when staying 5th and lower on the boards, you get convenience but give up some cleanliness overall. Our sink in the bathroom almost fell off the wall while we stayed 3 nights... BUT the AC worked we had ocean front and could easily get to the beach through the stairwell near our room. At over $400 a night during peak times, they REALLY NEED to start putting that back into the property. It's falling apart.

It’s terrible..

It’s terrible. Immediately, when we check in to the room we were given the balcony door was both dirty and broken, bed sheets were dirty, and fire detectors constantly beeping. When we asked for a new room at first for all these issues, they at first denied us a new room and had multiple people from maintenance check it before transferring us to a new room. Even then, the new room wasn’t perfect either as the sink had a weird issue where you’d be able to turn it on but would take multiple trial and errors to turn it off and the microwave every time when we heat up food the microwave hold water like a steamer, it very easy to get electrical shot. I commend the staff themselves, as they tried to make our stay more comfortable. However, for the price I paid, I ultimately expected way better. I wouldn’t recommend anyone I know to this hotel.
