Great staff but worn out room

Great location and wonderful staff! However, this place is in desperate need of a renovation. Lots of peeling wallpaper and a super slow drain (eww!) the sheets were clean but really dirty windows.

The property is advertised as family friendly but when we asked for cereal bowls for kids they blatantly rejected the request and I had to travel to Target to purchase it. They have a microwave in the room so providing some basic utensils on request especially when you have 2 toddlers who need to be fed after a long drive.

The hotel was not good for the money. We had a room beside us who were up till 1 am and up at 6 am on the phones yelling and our room smelled like their food they were eating it was bad! Try and avoid spend more even though this isn’t cheap we got no sleep very disappointed the rest of the trip was great!

The receptionist was very rude, gave us a terrible room, which was not that clean. We were looking for some cash change and dint help us with that. The housekeeping woke us up by knocking on door at 9 am asking if we want towels. And when i told them you woke us up, she said its my duty to ask. Our room didn’t get cleaned even once in two nights

The hotel was very clean, staff was very nice and helpful... room was clean, bed comfortable... we had the premium room, that overlooked the Canadian skyline, they had fireworks which we could see right from our bed.the hotel was within walking distance yo shops, restaurants, state park to see the falls and casino. Don’t book here!! Find somewhere else!

Would not book here again. The front desk clerk was RUDE and laughed in my face when I asked why there was a fee for parking after I already paid a fee for the room. He laughed and said I should have read the fine print better! At over $300 a night, paying an extra $21.25 to park PER night is outrageous!! The elevator floor was broke and peeling up from the previous floor. Wires were hanging down from the elevator ceiling and what was left of the floor was sticky. Super disappointed in the hotel for a holiday inn! Will be staying elsewhere when we return next year.
