Great location, but not the nicest hotel

The location is great. It's a 1-minute walk to Niagara Falls State Park. There's lots of shopping & food close by too. If you want to walk around the area (and even over to Canada), this location makes it possible. The hotel is a bit run down and dated. It could really use some TLC and modernization. Breakfast always had a long line & there was never enough seating; we had to take our food up to our room. The 'dining room' isn't sufficient in size. Our room wasn't very clean; we found some hairs in the tub and the shampoo bottle was empty.

It was a 300$ room that took 30 mins to get upon arrival because staff was out smoking. There was construction going on, they charged me to park even after room price. One of the boilers went out and very little hot water if at all.

Great view from the room (we had the top last room with 2 windows looking over the falls above the trees) but the room was dirty. The head board was worn out. This place was an active construction site with nothing taped off. In the stairwell there was paint peeling off the walls. When trying to check in the tablets they used were flopping all over the place and the staff continued with their conversation while we were checking in making up feel like we did not matter and us checking in was the last thing they were concerned about. Not to mention, on the check in system the person who got checked in before us still had all the information on the screen because they “forgot to send it through”; I would be pissed if someone else saw all my information.

Couldn’t tell the staff apart from guests, not wearing proper attire, the one’s in the kitchen wearing slippers and act like they don’t like their jobs, the cleaners were just sitting on their phones, the front desk were nice especially the girl in the front desk, she was very patient and still smiling even though she got yelled by a guest. The rooms were outdated, felt like something is biting when sitting on their room seats, the curtains on their window doesn’t close, the shower rod was broken so the curtain kept falling, wouldnt stay up and the whole floor got wet when I tried to shower. The bath mat was so old and crispy that it wouldn't even absorb the water so I had to use a bath towel to dry the floor. The bathroom vent didnt even work—I had to blow dry the mirror to unfog it after 20 minutes. The room was damp and humid, smelled like mold, and I felt unclean and unsafe.

The property location was fantastic, directly across the street from the falls. The room was clean and very comfortable and the rate was great. If I'm in the area again I will definitely stay here again. My only negative was the less than enthusiastic front desk clerk. I felt like I was a bother to his time. He answered all of my questions, but seemed to wish I hadn't needed to ask them.

The only real positive for this hotel is the location; across the street from the park. Check-in was not welcoming; the personnel seemed annoyed with doing his job. The room we received had torn carpet, dirty tub bottom, broken closet doors to which four maintenance personnel couldn’t fix, and guessing due to the age of the hotel, we could hear water running from upper rooms and the toilet would randomly run. Although the closet door condition was reported immediately, we were never offered another room; front desk said there were no available rooms without even checking. Another annoyance was the only working ice machine was on the six floor (our room was on first floor). Our stay was three nights and the only day we saw a Concierge person was day three (after second night).

I like the convenient location but poor reception desk for check in (July 22nd around 4:10 pm ish). Should specify that there’s a fee for parking space at the time of booking. Room amenities were ok. Nice view for the Niagara rapids but no plug available for the microwave function. It was dusty, not enough shampoo and conditioner, and should have a plastic curtain inside to prevent the water to come all the way outside the bathtub.

Best location for the Falls

Room was typical and comfortable. AC worked well. Breakfast had plenty of options. This hotel is definitely the closest to all attractions - less than 5 minute walk to the park and the nightly firework show.

Old now so we’ll maintained hotel.

The hotel is old and not well maintained. The front desk clerk sat on her phone when we checked in and I had to reach over the counter to give her my license. She was too busy FaceTiming someone. The refrigerator knob was broken and the fridge either was warm or froze everything. The carpet was dirty. The bathroom shower grout was black. The doors did not close well and everyone had to slam them shut. The only good thing was the proximity to the falls.
