The Pearl is located within easy walking distance to theaters, dining etc. The front desk staff are great! Check-in was very easy and we were upgraded. We really didn't have the full breakfast, my husband brought coffee and croissants and hard boiled eggs to our room, he said there were other options like pastries. Elevators are super fast, if you know NYC hotels you know that's a huge plus! Our room was very clean. L'Occitane amenities come in the form of dispensers which is fine, we bring our own toiletries and appreciate the extras. Water pressure wasn't the best but it was fine. Room was quiet which was much appreciated. Wine in the lobby was nice after walking all day. Overall a very nice stay, we would stay here again.

Not a newer property but blown away by the staff (the best I have visited in a while. The property upkeep was amazing! I cannot fully express the friendliness/proficiency and the desire to be of service, even including the breakfast attendant (continental) but just amazing! The staff was kind and attentive. One staff member arranged for me to get a car to get to the airport. I am also happy that I could store my luggage after checkout. This gave me the freedom to further explore NYC before my flight.

AMAZING staff. Very helpful. Entire hotel is spotless and the rooms are HUGE. It took quite a while to get hot water but then it was a great shower with plenty of hot water. I cant say enoigh about the cleanliness and location and staff. Highly recommend 10/10.

Very clean with very nice and helpful staff. The breakfast could be better. The area is the theater district so there's nothing that can be done about that but it is convenient to that part of the city.

Excellent location. We were efficiently checked in. Wine reception in the hallway was very impersonal. Table by front desk, clean glasses, note letting us know to bring glasses back. Red - Malbec and white- Savignon Blanc. In the room, outdated cream and coffee decor, ridiculous TV in the bathroom, we would have prefer USB port in a socket. Very clean bathrooms with excellent showers, robes and slippers in a closet, but sadly clumpy mattresses and pullows. We asked for late checkout, that was accommodated by a unfriendly (consierge hung up on us) quick call. Overall feeling is institutional. Hotel is basic for the price charged, lacks charm, not living up to its name.
