Great family stay!

The Hotel Scherman was amazing, and made our trip for my son’s birthday so special. The location is amazing, so close to the show we were in NYC to see, but also felt like a peaceful retreat when we wanted some downtime. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, and we absolutely loved the balcony and rooftop terrace.

Our favorite NYC Hotel!

This was our first visit to Hotel Scherman and we were very pleased. We’ve stayed at several other NYC hotels over the years but this one is a keeper! Check-in was fast and easy. We did not need parking. It was a close walk from 34th St train station. Hotel location was perfect and close to everything we wanted to see! Restaurants are steps away. The hotel was clean and the room was adequate size to accommodate 2 people. The bed was comfortable and we heard no outside noise. We had a small kitchenette that met our needs. You would need to bring your own frying pan if cooking on the electric stove top. They had a single use Keurig with a variety of k-cups and creamer and sugar. Our favorite part was the rooftop terrace and the inside connection to the Backstage Tavern. Elevator worked fine and quick. We had no issues with any part of our stay and are looking forward to a return this year!

The staff were excellent. Friendly and accommodating, whomever we talked to they had what we needed. The roof top terrace was the highlight - a great place to enjoy dessert and sunset.

It was a brief visit. The hotel was exceptional much better than anything else we have stayed in on our visits. Loads of space in the room and the bathroom. Helpful reception and a continental breakfast to set you up for the day. We will be back and have recommended to a friend who us due to visit later in the year.

Really well located for Broadway and Times Square (within 10mins walk). 7 mins to nearest subway station. Room was a good size, bigger than others around TS. Loads of bars and restaurants within minutes walk so no need to get the subway late at night. NO hotel bar wasnt an issue. Loved the quiet rooftop terrace late at night - brought pizza and drinks back 1 night and just admired the view!

Lovely stay. Different stay than a usual chain hotel. Great location in the middle of restaurant row. Super close to Times Square and Broadway. Room and bathroom were very comfortable with plenty of space.

I loved this hotel near the theater! The room was spacious, clean, a bit luxurious. Loved the tiles in the bathroom. It will most definitely be my go to in the area. Tons of bars and restaurants so near yet a quiet stay. Oh and the breakfast was fantastic! Especially the croissants.

We truly enjoyed staying here! The room was decorated so nice and it was very clean. Breakfast in the morning was such a treat! Coffee, juices, and several food options. The bar downstairs was fun and a great atmosphere. If you arrive before your room is ready, the desk will hold your luggage. I will definitely stay here again!
