The hotel was close to Grand Central Station. The air conditioning was most effective in the hot weather adding to comfort. We had a refrigerator in our room which was most appreciated and also access to an ice vending machine. There were newspapers available to guests which is rare. Once we were in our room there was no hint of the noise down on the streets, a real bonus. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
