Great location in the French Quarter. Close enough to walk to Bourbon, French Market, Frenchmen Street and other areas. We arrived early and they stored our luggage. Recommend this sweet boutique hotel.

This is a family owned historical building with lots of charm, very clean and great staff! We had a balcony room and enjoyed watching our French Quarter neighbourhood wake up every morning.

The hotel is lovely, historic, and conveniently located to all of the major New Orleans landmarks. We enjoyed a lot about this hotel. However, we booked a room through Expedia with two beds and when we arrived the receptionist, Cynthia, told us that we had been booked for a queen room. She tried to make us feel like we had made a mistake in booking and refused to accept any blame. The room she moved us to had no air conditioning and when we said anything she told us she would send up an engineer and no one ever came. The next day a different receptionist, Milena, who was wonderful, helped us move to a more comfortable room. The first receptionist made us feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable, which is just not a great way to begin a vacation. The hotel had a lot of great qualities but customer service (at least in terms of Cynthia) could be improved.

Odd not having a window in the room. Was very difficult to determine the time of day and not really safe. Bed was fabulously comfortable and the room was beautiful and clean. Staff were very friendly
