Riu Negril exceeded our expectations! It provided us with everything we could have wanted in a family vacation and then some! The staff were amazing, so friendly! The beach was ok but you are in a cove. Room was clean. Food was ok lots of varieties for everyone but nothing I would say was delicious !! Alcohol isn’t the best, Drinks are good tho, they only have red stripe beer. I would definitely go back there again.

Great resort very clean, friendly staff. The only complaint I have is the beach is more like a lagoon. The water is perfectly flat beautiful to look at but as soon as you step in, it feels like a lake, murky after a few feet,& your feet sink into the sand like mud and it’s barely 3 feet deep until the ropes. Great for little kids, but a 10 minute walk down the beach brings you to the Riu tropical with a beach that looks and feels perfect

The entertainment crew was phenomenal, the pools were refreshing, and the food was pretty good. Gorgeous and pretty large beach area. In a little cove area so barely any waves. If you like being in the Ocean- this is the place. Bring along those hammock floaties and before you know it a whole afternoon has passed!
