First of all, the hotel is beautiful, and some rooms are completely with it. The experience is absolutely not. Booked a three night after reading reviews, but had no expectations at all, and it still was really bad. Let’s be clear that no matter which room you book, you won’t get it. They will give you whatever they want. As I checked in, I got the room keys and went to unpack, I immediately got back down to let them know that’s not the room I reserved. Instead of an apology for a mistake, I wa so formed that there was not a mistake and that’s the only one available, so either take it or leave. After some back and forth, explaining that room was not what I paid for. I got a complimentary free $40 night of parking even fough the room price difference was $100+ I was tired, it was late, I took it and went to bed with the promise tha next day at 3 I would be changed to my original reservation. Next day, since 8 am and every half an hour, house keeping will literally knock down your door if you don’t wake up and answer them. Even though I said no house keeping they kept going until around 12:30 when I had enough I decided to change rooms. I called reception and they told me they would bring me the keys right over to make the change. Waited for half an hour and called again and they told that they never said that and I had to go down. I went down, clearly upset as I had just had a horrible rest, being overcharged for a room I did not want, being harrased by a cleaning I di

Out room was great- the breakfast was non-existent. They were running late with setting it up and we could not find the room. We searched all of the 2nd floor and found someone to ask who told us it was being set up in “a room”. But all the rooms we saw were actual hotel rooms so to eat a buffet breakfast in a hotel room for $23 pp is just creepy. So we went out to breakfast instead and had a lovely meal for 2. The staff was also non-attentive and didn’t even say good morning or acknowledge us. That I am not used to. It’s like the moral there was so down. No one offered to help with our bags- the bellman just stood at the podium. It was a weird experience but the room was beautiful.
