I almost always stay at Hotel Monville because it is a great hotel in a great location but this was the first time that I didn’t receive either an upgrade or any other type of VIP benefit. Honestly, it wasn’t even brought up or offered which was surprising.

I recently stayed at Hotel Monville while in Montreal for a few days. I picked this hotel strictly for the hotel room views of the city, however upon arrival I was extremely disappointed with the view I received. In speaking with staff, I was immediately moved six floors higher with a stunning view and no extra charge. The customer service, cleanliness of the hotel and accommodations exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay again and highly recommended this hotel.

Amazing stay in a clean and friendly hotel in the center of Montréal! Loved to sleep in a bed with proper duver and duvet cover and not only a blanket with sheets. Great to get late check-out since I had an important digital meeting.

Hotel Monville is in a great location, mid-way between Old Montreal and rue Ste. Catherine. It is also very contemporary, with nice design and impressive technology enhanced services.

The property was in a nice location walkable to the riverfront and many dining facilities. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. However, on our day of departure, I had called the evening before for our car to be ready for 5:45 AM from the valet parking. NO ONE was at the reception when we arrived at 5:43, and No car was waiting for us. We did find someone who rushed to get our car immediately, and just left our key cards on the reception desk. Would have been nice to know in advance if no one was going to be there in the early morning and we probably should have left our key cards in the room. Other than that, the room was very nice, bathroom vanity really small for 2, but all amenities were great.

There was no bar or food services between 3-5pm which is really odd for a hotel. We had to go across the street to another hotel to get a beverage and food. There was an education program happening in the bar, but the lobby should have some sort of f&b service.

The staff was rude, disrespectful and discriminatory. Refused our stay due to a credit card issue from 2 years ago that was wasn’t aware of until we arrived, disrespected and mocked me, escorted myself and my wife through the public lobby like criminals as they held our belongings hostage. Eventhough we left they refused to issue a refund and also fraudulently charged my wife’s credit card without her consent regardless of the fact that we chose not to stay. Worst life and hotel experience I’ve ever had

I have stayed here a few times. Everyone at the hotel is very nice and pleasant in their communication. However, they still need to work on a few things to truly become a top-notch hotel. No VIP upgrades offered, the gym had no hand sanitizer available, the restaurant for breakfast is extremely expensive and you’re better to walk down the street to one of the other breakfast cafés, the bar was closed one night for a private event. Not sure why that happens in the hotel that is supposed to be for hotel guest not for an outside company.
