Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. A major leak in my room caused significant damage – all my clothes and my laptop bag were completely soaked. To make matters worse, the air conditioning didn’t work, leaving the room hot and uncomfortable throughout the night. The bathroom tap was also faulty – the cold tap ran hot – which made using it frustrating and unsafe. On top of that, the door had no functioning closer, which is a serious concern given it’s meant to be a fire door. This level of neglect is unacceptable, and I would not recommend staying here until the hotel addresses these major maintenance and safety issues.

Very well located, close to the historic, old Montreal and to modern Montreal. Employees are very service oriented, the installations are top of the line. Only negative was that cafeteria was eing remodeled. Coffee was excellent.

Last time hotels.com asked me if i would still rate Hotel Chrome 5 stars, one after 1 year of regular attendance, and i said no and explained why. Last night, they gave me the presidential suite, to compensate i suppose. Today, i booked for another 6 consecutive nights. I hope i will not receive room 206. 205 is already better. 303 is absolute best with great pillows, aminities, and smart tv for wireless casting and great shower... Thanks Hotel Chrome. Anytime.

Location is good if you are willing to travel by public transport but there is no parking available. The hotel does not provide basic hotel amenities like shampoo, tooth brush ,hotel slippers etc. There is no breakfast option and they do not have coffee maker even though they mentioned in their website. Only advantage you can stay in the middle of Downtown Montréal within budget and access anywhere from the hotel.
