Beds were not bad. Service was good with one person and intimidating with the other. The breakfast room was under construction, so we didn't get breakfast. The receptionist snapped at me and said it was on the website, but it wasn't. The heater in the bedroom was broken. It was super hot in the room, we couldn't sleep. We needed to pull the plug to be able to let it coolndown to be able to sleep. I knew it was a cheaper hotel so we know you don't get top notch..but even the elevator floors were duct taped..towels were rough like sandpaper with hair in it, also in the bed we found hair. We had a dog with us, suddenly we needed to pay a fee which was more then half the price of the entire room.. that was rediculous. If i need to pay 10 or 15 $ ok, but 35 was crazy.. and there was nothing for him in the room like a bowl. I will never go back there, the only good thing really was the location.

Staff were generally pleasant. The room was large, comfortable and clean. This is not a 5* hotel, my expectations were set low but it was surprisingly good. And amazing value for money. Neighbourhood not the greatest but easy transport links are close by, metro and buses. No dining options at the hotel - it's only a couple of minutes walk to St Catherine Street where there are plenty of places.

No customer service front desk person pushed me away before I could say anything told to call Expedia that they’re (sh*t) when I called Expedia they talked to him then he was finally able to give a service. He told me had a busy day but if you want you can go book somewhere else. I didn’t answer him because it was 1AM in the morning just wanted to rest but was the worst experience someone could experience no heart inside the room it was freezing in the room but I couldn’t request help because the front desk person had argue issues.

I didn't say "great" I said good. Clean, inexpensive, great location, minimalist room amenities. I found the bed a little hard but not impossible. The staff used the minimum of courtesy but not unfriendly. Far from perfect experience but certainly passable for this single, non-fussy traveler spending a night.
