Hotel is very clean, location is okay, affordable for location. The hotel staff are kind especially the evening manager. Not enough parking space if hotel is fully booked, no street parking either. Continental breakfast choices is not impressive but the coffee machine options are great. Dated furnishings but in working order, the heater is loud. I had the misfortune of being in the lower level room and there is absolutely no sound proofing. All the upstairs noise is amplified. Bring ear plugs.

I would absolutely recommend Sunset Inn. The staff were absolutely amazing, so helpful and welcoming. Our room had a jetted tub and a fireplace, it made the stay so cozy. Perfect romantic getaway.

We were in room 100. The microwave consistently blew the electrical strip making the oven unusable. There was also no thermostat control in the room. EV charging was only available from 8-11pm, which was not workable for us. The room was fine aside from the above, the location is great, and the staff was very friendly. I would probably try another spot in the area next time.

Very nice boutique hotel, a short walk to the beach. The manager (I think his name is Bhapti) really cares about his guests and their experience at his facility. He is a true gentleman, and makes this facility just that much more special. Ask him to make you a hot chocolate at the fancy coffee machine in the lobby, you will not be disappointed. He has that machine figured out. Pacific Grove is a nice community, lots of nice restaurants without having to go to Monterey.
